These are my favorite aftermarket product on here thus far. Love the CT cutouts, great touch.

Off-topic, but a question about the bumper guard shown in the pictures. Does it attach to the rescue hooks? is it easily removeable? I'd like to add a guard, but don't want to limit using the frunk as a bench seat at events.

Thank you for the kind words!

Yes, the front bumper bar attaches to the rescue hooks using our patent pending mounting system. It can be removed and put back on in 1 minute. Very simple install, just need a 1/2" wrench. It should be available up on our site by the end of the week.

Nice, this will be a must-buy for sure. Whenever Elon decides to let those of us in his second home of Canada buy the truck that is.

A good set of running boards should cost 5-600 bucks. Ive bought them for every truck I've owned. What are these 1400? Just because they are for a cybertruck. I'll wait for the bigger manufacturers to start making them.

Thank you for the feedback. Just to clarify, the price isn't $1400 because they fit a Cybertruck. There are a few key differences between these and typical running boards. We are providing running boards made from premium 304 non-magnetic Stainless Steel that will last just as long as your Cybertruck will. Comparing them to other manufacturers who use carbon steel that is prone to rusting is a lot more of an apples to oranges comparison.

For reference the 304 stainless steel raw material is currently ~265% more expensive than carbon steel. So, before any manufacturing operations begin, the base material alone is over 2.5X the cost. We also include free shipping, a $150-$200+ expense. We could make the boards smaller so they would be less expensive to ship, but then they just don't look right on a premium vehicle like the Cybertruck.

Factoring this all in along with the other benefits that they offer, like the extruded grip stepping surface and stainless steel mounting brackets, and the USA made running boards return in value. Of course there will be other options out there, but we chose to manufacture a high quality product that matches the Cybertruck.

Ok, I am sure some people will buy them. What I want is a pair very similar to what you would get on a band new F150 or Ram. about 5-600 bucks, and look great. Powder coated black would be fine. I suspect there is a much larger market for a product like that, and I also suspect that they are being worked on and will be available sooner rather than later.

I totally understand and I’m sure you’ll find something similar to what you are looking for in time.(y)

Ours is a bit more unique than the standard Ford, Chevy, Dodge running boards and we’re happy to provide them to people looking for something different for their Cybertruck.

Sounds great Art! The satin finish is what will match the body of your truck. The high-polish is a mirror like finish, and the black is a black powder coated finish. On the item page when you click the finish drop down box, the pricing changes according to the finish that you choose.

The front bumper bars did just get added to the site yesterday! I'll make the official announcement next week, but you can check them out here RealWheels EV Cybertruck Bumper Bars

If you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks!

Would you consider producing sail panels and a tailgate top out of stainless? I'd be a buyer. Basically all of the bed surround should have been done in stainless not plastic...

I am happy to introduce the RealWheels EV Stainless Steel Running Boards. We’ve engineered these Cybertruck specific stainless steel running boards to be able to endure the toughest elements while enhancing the appearance and function of your CT. We offer them in three finishes, hand-polished satin finish to compliment the factory body, high-polished for more contrast, or a classic black powder coated finish. They feature our Real-Grip™ stepping surface for maximum grip and water drainage.

RealWheels EV Stainless Steel Running Boards

What differentiates RealWheels EV Running Boards from the others?
  • All Stainless Steel Construction
  • Real-Grip™ Stepping Surface
  • Three Finishes available
  • Full Length to Maximize Stepping Surface
  • Fully Welded and Made in the USA

Stainless Steel Construction
  • What most people would consider the biggest benefit, RWC EV Running Boards and mounting brackets are made completely from 304 Non-Magnetic Stainless Steel, not carbon steel like other running boards. That means that our running boards will NEVER rust. Carbon steel may be less expensive, but they will not allow you the durability and longevity that only Stainless Steel can offer. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that you’ll never have to worry about seeing any unsightly rust with the RWC EV Stainless Steel Running Boards.

Real-Grip™ Stepping Surface
  • A highly important measure that doesn’t get discussed about much, is the actual step surface. RWC EV offers Real-Grip™ a true non-slip extruded tread design. This unique cut pattern gets extruded upward creating multiple contact points and ensures that you will have maximum grip stepping into or out of your Cybertruck, regardless of if it is dry, wet, oily, or snow packed. Even though they are not sharp, you'll be sure footed every time you step up to your truck. These same openings also allow for rapid water drainage, so you won’t have to worry about puddles on your boards. The unique 3D look of the stepping surface is exclusive to the Real-Grip™ tread design.

Three Finishes Available
  • The choice is yours, satin brushed, high-polished or classic black? The RWC EV Running Boards are the only ones available in a hand-polished satin finish, or high-polished mirror finish. Because we make our boards out of stainless steel, we can offer a bold unique look that complements the factory stainless steel body of your Cybertruck.
  • Prefer the black powder coated finish to match the lower trim? No problem. Since our boards are made from stainless steel regardless of finish, you will get all the same benefits plus a durable black finish that is designed to last without ever having to worry about rust.

Full Length to Maximize Stepping Surface
  • The RWC EV running boards are designed to go from end to end to maximize your stepping surface and provide a factory look. On the Cybertruck we brought the Real-Grip™ stepping surface all the way from the front to the back, giving full confidence being able to plant your foot completely on the stepping surface. The boards allow you easier access to the roof or windshield, making cleaning or loading items onto your crossbars a breeze.

Made in the USA
  • Our Stainless Steel Running Boards are made right here in the USA. We look at the little things that add up to make a big difference. Starting with an integrated design that flows with your Cybertruck. Then we tig weld each and every component of the boards, so you don't have to deal with bolting down the stepping surface, or having those bolts come loose. We hand polish the finish. From precision laser cutting, forming, welding, polishing or powder coating, we handle every operation to ensure the highest level of quality for your Cybertruck.

Installation is a breeze with our included printed instructions and our video walk through install.

Love these wheels if they didn't stick out of the truck. Wish they were flush just like stock, but in 24"...I'd be all over that!
