When are we getting FSD on the Cybertruck?

suspect we’ll see a HW4 build version of FSD for other Teslas before the Cybertruck version gets released.

I highly doubt that. I suspect that the same HW3 emulation will be used on the Cybertruck.

I don't think that I even want that, all the FSD focus in on the HW3 platform for the majority of the vehicles and the ones that have been waiting the longest. If it is a different code base, that slows future releases.

I've been saying Aug/Sept for a while. With the delays on 12.4 I may have to push those dates out a bit. I'm 99% sure 12.5 will be running in emulation mode I believe Elon has stated this. I don't expect a native HW4.0 until the end of the year or in all likely hood next year. I don't have any inside information but just my opinion from watching FSD development closely the last 7 or 8 years, so take it with a grain of salt.

Yep. I got 38 hours of driving coming up at end of July... FSD (or at least Autopilot) would sure be nice. ?

In keeping with this thread, is it a dream we will get AutoPilot sooner than FSD? Or have to wait for both together?

I can’t believe we don’t have AutoPilot. If my single front camera 2015 S can steer and TACC (using radar), why can’t our CTs since we already have TACC!?

"HW4 will be lagging behind HW3 by at least 6 months"
"Cybertruck will be lagging behind the other vehicles by at least 6 month"

I do find it interesting that there have been a number of minor updates dropping recently. I wonder if there may be something running in shadow mode?

Wasn't there a gent that analyzed the code that was released. He would share another potential camera feed or some branch that predicted a feature. I remember Rob Maurer (The Tesla Daily guy) would always quote him but I never paid attention to the name cause I thought Rob would continue to report it. Since Rob doesn't podcast that anymore, I'll have to remember the name or hope one of you do.?

I would agree to wait patiently for months for FSD if I could have AutoPilot now!

I just did a 7 hour road trip and I was surprised that I was not road weary at the end. I hope you have a similar experience. I do find the TACC at highway speeds is a bit of a shite show with occasional phantom braking. So just good ole manual driving for a bulk of the drive is what I did.

I heard that the issue was the 4 wheel steering
Needing more training?…
Makes perfect sense to me since it adds a whole new variable.
I recall my first drive in heavy rain and feeling like it was fishtailing…
