Well, I've had my truck for about a month or so now and really only have driven it about 2 weeks now since I was out of town for work. 560 miles or so on dash as of today.

Earlier today I pulled it out about 10ft out of my parking garage space to show a friend and got a red notification showing I needed to pull over immediately. "Critical issue detected" So I stopped and exited the vehicle while trying to sidetrack the conversation so my friend would give me a hard time and showed my friend a few things and when I went to pull it back in my spot the notifications were gone. At least so I thought.

Went to go see a movie with the wife and once again as soon as we pulled out the same thing happened showing steering issues and low voltage battery concers. Pulled it back in my spot, took my wife's car, and made an appointment for first thing tomorrow morning. It was nice to see they have openings available immediately for these alerts and the app showed and asked me to check the box for the errors that were popping up. I did a steering wheel reset but the errors were still showing when it reset. The wheel also became very tight to turn requiring about 3x more force and the steering raidus was cut dramatically which makes sense considering the faults.

When i came home i went to check it out again and couldn't get the truck to repeat the issue. I put it in service mode and it does show 2 active alerts from earlier in the night. I drove it a little bit in service mode and normal mode with no issues. I am wondering if I should even drop it off at all now? I really don't want to be without the truck but I figure at least they can do the recall items and fix an issue I have with the driver door rattling and buzzing while the sound system is on. Sounds like it is missing some clips or just isn't seated correctly. The passenger door sounds just fine but the drivers door rattles and buzzes waaay beyond normal. My wiper blade is also aweful and doesnt clean normally. Misses half the widow on the way down and about a quarter on the way up. Hasnt smoothed itself out for over a month and im confident its defective. Anyways, I hope the low voltage battery doesn't keep it away from me too long. I'm located in Hawaii and we have issues with shipping batteries by mail and I doubt our service center has one laying around since mine was the 2nd delivered in Hawaii and there's still just a handful on island. Anyone else have this issue? Did a Google search and couldn't find the main code associated with anyone. Pics attached below.

Just realized I posted a Pic of the wrong owners manual code but it was fairly similar to this one in text.

Thank you for sharing your experience here. I just had a similar experience. Tesla service told me remotely that the alert cleared and no service was needed.

What was the temperature in your garage when this occurred?

The car is parked in a parking garage in Oahu so the hottest it really ever gets is high 80's

To be fair, I absolutely love the truck. I've owned a Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado Zr2 and a Chevy Silverado Trailboss. This truck outperforms, out menuevers, and has just about every feature you can ask for. I also have a Porsche and its currently up for sale because I dont really see myself owning anything after this. I knew going in to this that I would probably have an issue or two, and thats obviously been the case but Im hoping Tesla takes care of it and I can go forward on my way. I'll keep everyone updated once I get more info when I drop it off later this morning here in Hawaii.

It looks like all the issues might stem from a low-voltage supply problem. A certain percentage of the electrical boards that step down the voltage will be defective in any vehicle. It looks like this is probably an easy fix and no big deal, like most early Cybertruck issues we have seen.

Mine has had zero issues, even after beating it up off-road for over 1/3 of its 2500 miles and leaving it parked outside 24/7.

Still selling trucks with known issues…

why not fix them before they sell them…? This is the question
Right! I mean why can't Tesla be like all the other vehicle manufactures and have no issues, no recalls on new models, and no surprise issues that come up with brand new models? Especially ones that take major technology leaps forward. Imagine what Tesla could save on service centers. Odd though, all the service centers and repair shops all over the country, many that work on vehicles less than a year old. Maybe that's why they struggle so much with profitability and have needed bailouts ?

Clearly every CT is breaking down and bricking and having major issues. Maybe it would be different and more acceptable if it was just a small percentage and the vast majority of owners were extremely happy and having no issues outside a few recalls (that new thing no other legacy manufactures ever have).

That is very frustrating, especially happening when you were excited to show off the CT. And even more if your friend was a skeptic. Hopefully it is an easy and quick fix for you. Doesn't matter how few any issues happens to, when you're the one it happens to it sucks and is incredibly frustrating.

That is the Low Voltage 48v Wire Harness that is faulty and needs to be replaced. I was one of the first ones to get this message back in February 2024. Your service dealer will know what to do. The part comes from Austin. It is a several hours of work to replaced.

Why do you think “like all the other vehicle manufactures and have no issues”? FYI, it is more accurate to say “all manufacturers have recalls”. Your other statement “Clearley every CT is breaking down and bricking” is also totally inaccurate. Do you live in another world? I have a CT and it has not bricked or had major issues. What service shops have needed bailouts? You are going to hear a higher proportion of problems on this forum than reality. That is just the nature of forums. Come on man! Get a grip on reality. Sheesh!

oof... should have used the sarcasm font. People are going to think you don't realize everyone has recalls...
