You mean add an annoying beep to the interior of the car?

I certainly hope not; those types of alarms are worse than useless... they actually break the concentration of driver. which of course is an unintended and oxymoronic consequence.
Beg to differ... Having the beep go off when I get to close to something unseen in my Model S saved my butt many times... Actually just having the radar line with distance would be a huge help as well.

I've been saying Aug/Sept for quite a while. I'm still hopeful we see a release by then but as @darkfyre says even if we get a release in the next month or so it could still take a while before it truly goes wide. So work on your X influencer skills if you want to be in the first wave. ;)
Yea, I think that's a fair projection. I don't know if you tried to get into the "OG tester group" @Obie_fl, but my luck was really bad and I gave up after about a year or so. There is this unprotected left hand turn in front of my house that doesn't match the map data (so the Tesla Vision is forced to do it) and on the current version, it's 50/50. Chuck's turn is important, but there are a LOT more of them that are just as important! Haha!

sorry, I meant to specify as a continuous beep. A sudden alarm for getting extremely close is useful and should remain.

Some cars have a nauseating backup sound because somehow designers think it's a good idea to add noise to a system for the sake of it. It's like the backup alarms on heavy equipment on an extremely congested construction site. turns out to be actually counterproductive.

Only Tesla can get with charging CT owners a $4k premium for FSD and the software is STILL not available to owners nearly 8-months after launch.
And how do you come up with that false number?

And FSD still isn't available for my 2018 Model 3 or 2020 Model Y, but yet early release products are.

Do you realize that the late 2022 delivery cars without USS didn't have FSD for about 9 months as well?

The year is 2032. The Cybertruck is still on the 12.4.92 branch and therefore not on 12.5 mainline yet, despite the Model Z and Model 2 being on HW7 and the fifth iteration of FSD-AI.

I am not sure if I NEED it.... as I have never been in a FSD Tesla, however I certainly know that I WANT it :)
Since after you get it you will know you needed it, it's okay now to admit that you've always needed it, and then to ask the obvious - "Why is it taking so long?" Why not be honest with your future self?

Indeed, this is the plot of that famous Broadway play, "Waiting for 12.5!"

Well of course only Tesla can do that. no one else has FSD. ?
It was about 10 years for Tesla to get to HW. HW3 came out 5 years ago.
HW5 hardware already exists, but then again, when HW3 shipped 5 years ago, HW4 existed as well.

Model Ys made in October 2022 went about this same time without FSD.

But it came. Be patient.

And don't expect FSD to be perfect, it won't be.

Summon is part of the FSD suite. It is pretty rudimentary right now as compared to the FSD stack and I've not been able to trust it, save for abandonded parking lots.

Very important to have line of sight on your vehicle in an area with good cell reception for summon to work.

Elon has confirmed many times that the Tesla AI team is working on a Smart Summon and Smart Banish (go find a parking spot) feature. But no known date for those to even begin testing.

Umm, I have a 2020 MYP that has been running FSD since version 10.2. Love it and can't wait to have it on the CT.

so with the most recent update my CT doesn't recognize the speed limit any longer showing 55MPH no matter where I am driving. Anyone else have this problem?

Same here.

Although there's were several wrong readings too in Idaho and Montana.

Canada? My brain is too slow to check if km translating into miles accurately. :ROFLMAO:

Do you have yours yet? Most owners love driving the thing so much! You know Tesla is like that so why harp on it? Should they have waited till when 12.5 was ready to get the truck?? There have been roughly 25,000 trucks made and a S*** ton who love the truck as is and when it can drive its self, it will just be there
It is such a fun truck to drive in its own right! I wouldn’t use FSD to start anyways because it is so fun..
I was perfectly fine knowing I paid for something not quite ready.. because the more ready it is, the more it will costs.
