We travel with multiple cats. They ride in carriers but at night we allow them to roam in the CT on Pet Mode. Problem is they can roll down windows and open doors!

While the rear doors can be locked out with a child lock, the front doors remain active, even when the vehicle is locked. The perfectly flat switches can be easily pressed when the cats walk and jump on the door armrest. Yes, even when locked!

I need a flat plastic piece that will cover the switches that tucks under the door trim to keep the cats from opening them by accident. Anyone got a 3-D printer that can help? I’m sticking some laminated dolls there for the current trip… (see pic). ?

Maybe Tesla will do a lockout for all the switches at some point, but probably unlikely.

I have a 3D printing business but I don’t pick up my CT until late this month. I could whip something up for you really quick once I get it thou.

Do what? I think your Cybertruck has an issue. In dog mode, all windows should be deactivated. If what you are saying is true, there is a huge pet safety issue because I know my dog can unroll the windows down in the front, as well.

Can anyone else confirm that all windows should be locked during dog mode?

EDIT: After reading some reddit forums, it looks like it does what you said...only locks the rear windows. This needs fixed ASAP by Tesla because now I am worried my dogs will get out. They know how to operate the windows and last thing I want to do is have my dogs jump out. My dogs will not stay in the back seat. They jump over the pet cover in the back and love to sit in the front seats.

I don't have faith in dog mode now. :(

Where do we submit a comment to Tesla to fix this?

We learned that Dog Mode does in fact lock out the front window switches on our truck. However, the door can still be opened. If opened from the inside while in dog mode, the Cybertruck does quite a little light show to get your attention. Still need some covers for the door switches, but we sometimes use the Keep or Camp Modes, and those two do NOT lock out the window switches. ??‍♂

Thank you for verifying what windows Dog Mode locks. I am very happy to hear all four lock. In other Tesla, it stated that only the rear windows locked. Definitely will keep an eye out for someone to develop some door switch covers.
