I've searched the manual and the forums and can't find an answer to this.

Is it safe to use an extension cord and power strip with the plugs in the truck bed? The main use case I have is when we're camping in the cyber tent, we can power fans, heated blanket, a light, and charge things like phones. Or if I want to run an extension cord and power strip to a camp table to run an electric griddle, lights, speaker, etc.

I’ve used an extension cord with multiple sockets on it but not with a power strip. Anyway, it worked like a charm at powering the phone charger and griddle at the same time. We are going to take a microwave camping with us this upcoming weekend because it is hilarious.

Yes, you can use the bed and cabin outlets just like regular, grid-connected outlets.

The cool thing I just learned is the bed outlets are on a different circuit from the cab outlets. Which simply means you can pull up to 20 amps from each of them simultaneously without issue.

It's just as safe to use an extension cord/power strip as with any other outlet. And, of course, the same safety rules apply (e.g. careful in wet locations, watch for overloads, no frayed cords, etc).

I've never had a vehicle with built-in outlets before and it's great!!

I took my Panasonic Toaster Oven with me camping last week. It's pretty cool because it cooks quickly with radiant ifrared heat, even if it does draw 1400 watts. I crisped bacon just how I like it in a pan and then cooked my eggs in the same pan. Yummmmmm!

I feel yes, use extension cords on the Cybertyruck bed plugs all the time. I am using 20 amp versions to have less loss on the run.

Two powerstrips is how I survived hurricane Beryl for 6 days! Stay under the 20 amps you'll be fine.

You have up to 40 amps if you plug one powerstrip into the bed outlet and one into the cabin outlet.

If you want more than 40 amps you need home Powershare equipment installed into your home.

Yea powershare was installed but Tesla did not turn on the option in my truck or app until just today actually. Early adopter woes!
