Rationalize all you want.

$4k as others have mentioned is gone, so is Powershare from the last offer that I saw.
A few months of Free Supercharging isn't really that much, and I don't know if it is available either.

Light bar may be a legality problem for CA.

Dash upgrade, if that floats your boat.

As to "Last but not least PLEASURE of seeing people’s face when they first take a ride, that my CT just can’t provide" I'm lost, do you have a AWD and are dreaming about a Beast?
But in any case, I see lots of pleasure in people faces when taking them in the Cybertruck. And that's often before I start moving.
In an AWD, if I floor it, a lot of people become unhappy, too much speed.
Yep. same here.

I don't believe the Cyberbeast will be a collectors item. I think it will have less value than the signature S series (first MS), which aren't coveted more than normal Model S.

The FS will see a drop in value once the non-FS start rolling out (en masse) as we've seen from Tesla in the past.
100% and anyone who bought an FS that doesn't understand that to a degree is new to Tesla. ha!

Thing is, the FS was at best a $4k-$5k premium. That's an "early" entry fee IMO. I took delivery yesterday and as a long term Tesla owner, I know the game for sure. ha!

We went with the CT. The CB was always on our radar. We did purchase the Plaid MX last year mainly the buy in was much better than an extra $20,000. When you added up the 3rd row setting the plaid on the MX was within our price range. The CB was just to far away to make it worth our wild for our first CT purchase. As what was mentioned, I'm thinking they may come out with an acceleration boost in the future. The CT is really no slouch. Faster than our 2018 MX AWD was.

The $4K PowerShare installation credit wasn't all that. A number of folks got massively marked-up quotes from installers who knew the customer was getting $4K of it for "free", so they rejected the installation and threw away the $4K credit.

Others (like me) still haven't heard anything about being connected to an installer. I ordered my CB in December and took delivery in May. Last communication was from Tesla in January saying that they'd reach out to me once they lined me up with an installer. Yes, I checked spam folder.

If it actually costs, say, $3K to install it, the installer will probably quote me $7K ($3K + $4K). So I'm not in a huge hurry to proceed.

Honestly, I am not sure why there isn't an AB right now but I won't be shocked to see it in the near future as the non-FS rollout. 4.1s 0-60 is sick for a truck, come on now! AB say to 3.6? Ermaaagaaahd! lol

Tesla only has AB on the MY currently. I think it's unlikely they do one for the CT when they have stayed away from that for the X/S to keep the gap of speed big enough to justify the pricing.

yeah, it has to make sense for sure

MSP - 1.99s
MSLR - 3.1s

MXP - 2.5s
MXLR - 3.8s

M3P - 2.9s
M3LR - 4.2s

MYP - 3.5s
MYLR - 4.8s

Cyberbeast - 2.6s
Cybertruck AWD - 4.1s

There is definitely room for AB in the Cybertruck AWD. At these speeds 0.5s boost is considerable let alone 1s so I say do an AB of 3.6s 0-60MPH for the AWD. That extra second in the Beast will remain dramatic.

The AWD trim isn't bad if all the F-150 Lightnings are sold out at your local Ford dealer.

Beast >>>>> Lightning >>>> AWD

If I sold my Lighting and got a AWD, it would've felt like a step backwards. For anyone who hasn't driven a Rivian or Lightning the AWD is fine, but if this is someone's second EV truck, the AWD would be very disappointing.

I put the Lightning pretty well below the AWD once FSD comes to the CT.

The ride is smoother, I like the way the truck looks more, UI/Tech is far better, Charging, etc.

The only difference is the motor and badging. Not sure why those two things would make a big difference in the context of the lightning.

The Lightning is like floating on a cloud. It had a bit more bounce, it didn't have the rough and jarring feel of the CT hitting a bump.

If you have sport suspension, then you should be more sporty. Beast fits that bill, so it makes sense to me to lose the cloud and gain the speed. AWD is slower and rougher than Lightning, it just doesn't make sense.

Completely disagree on rougher. My CT is the best riding EV I've been in and that includes. 23 Lightning Lariat, 22 MS LR, 23 MXP, 21 MYLR, amd 20 M3P.

I guess everyone has their own opinion.

The Beast feels more like my M3P than my Lightning. My partner comments on it all the time, every bump you hit feels like an assault in either Tesla.

Maybe the AWD suspension is softer? I assumed they were the same, but if the AWD is softer due to its less aggressive drive, then maybe I am spreading misinformation.

I don't know, but I drove a Lightning on Sunday. The CT is far smoother driving than the Lightning in my and his opinion on the same roads.

Now I need to hear from someone who has more experience in both an AWD and Beast. I honestly would be shocked to hear anyone say a Beast is more comfortable than a Lightning (2022 XLT in my case), to the point that I am now certain the AWD and Beast suspension on relaxed must feel noticably different.

I do remember a 15 second conversation in one of Out of Spec's videos about how the tri-motor makes bumps more jarring. I'm not going to search though 20 hours of CT coverage to find that though.
