The birds I got on the road came from big pickup trucks. And one was a loud dodge charger. I think those are because it’s an EV. For the casual idiot that might hate EVs, it’s hard for them to figure out which ones are actually EVs. The Cybertruck is very easy to identify as an EV. Even a loser with 3 brain cells knows it.

I try to give thumbs up whenever I see them. Love the design.

That said, once production ramps up they will be kind of ubiquitous. It will either go the way of the PT cruiser or the VW bug. We kind of already have an alternative version of 'punch buggy' game going when we see them now.

"Can I kick it?" - that's my favorite one I've heard. Can I fucking kick you?

Our truck got spit on by a multi-hair colored (of course) 12 year old who was standing next to his dad.

we sadly deleted the video because we couldn’t fully see what they were doing and didn’t notice the spit till we got home.

Got my truck couple months ago, just started posting on this site. I'm in nebraska and still get all kinds of reactions:

First one on day one - did you make that? Yes, I went to home depot and made it...LOL
Most common at stop lights - what the heck is that.
Had a guy at Menards come check it out as it's the first he had seen close up. Let him take pics.
Kids chase it in any new neighborhood I drive through. Lot's of pics and I oblige with lower/raising the truck.
Couple people asked if I would trade for theirs.
Was at harbor freight getting some straps and a few guys came out to take pics and chat.

I'd say about 2/3 the responses are good. The last 1/3 is a mix of don't care all the way to rude gestures/profanity/'I'm going to burn it'.

Kids love it 100%.
I had an older guy in a white vet try to get away from me on an onramp to the interstate then he buzzed around me for a bit. I thought he was a hater but he eventually gave me a thumbs up.

Lots of questions: "Is it real?" "What is it? " "What does it run on?" "Are you rich?" "Did you make it?" "Is it fast?" Lots of interest in charge rates. Lots of shock at the frunk concept. Haters really don't ask questions so much as throw negative comments at me or it.

Its amazing how much of a kids day you can make if you tell them they can touch it or sit in it (some adults are just big kids when it comes to the cybertruck). That really surprised me.

As I'm using it to promote the concept of freedom in money (bitcoin) its been a great conversation starter for that. Also interesting how people will ask you about it when you've told them thats what you paid for it with. (not political, just a passion)

I’ve only had a couple guys get more visibly triggered in their trucks. Start rocking back and forth beating on their steering wheel then hanging out the window to thumb down. I just did the crying eyes gesture as I passed ?

I recommend a pair of those thick black gloves tattoo artists use and lots of Costco baby wipes to remove it.

That’s how we got rid of it.
