That is awesome. You said you did good with Nvidia? Nice. No 16 year olds I know even try. You did good. It's your cash and you now have a truck you can drive for a long long time. I would think your folks would be very proud. The 16 year old grandkids I have ask for 5 bucks so they can buy sodas all the damn time. I am going to show them this post sir. Nice.

What's with the hate?? You don't know him. You don't know why he bought the car. Not everyone buys it as a flex. OP said they didn't like the attention

Bro really said miss being able to text and drive lol. I get it man you’re young but trust me that text isn’t worth your life or someone else’s. All it takes is a split second for something terrible to happen. Congrats on the Beast and be safe homie.
The Cybertruck (and I assume other Teslas) have a fantastic Message app to be able to read and respond to text messages while not taking your eyes off the road. And you don't need to unlock your phone to get it to work properly.

People can spend money however they like regardless of age.

My Dad said when I sent him a picture of me out in the woods with the truck the following. Seriously son. Why?

Why not? Enjoyment is part of life. Life can be long or it can be short sometimes. Waiting isn't enjoying.

Congratulations on owning the coolest truck in the world!

Also, please (and I mean this sincerely) don't allow the truck to become your coffin. Treat it like the dangerous 8,000 lb machine that it is.

To be fair, a ton of adults don't take it serious enough. Not saying you don't already, but please take great care.
6700lbs not 8000lbs but yes be careful, keep it in chill and don't drink and drive it ever.

You have no authority to back-seat parent someone you don't even know. Get a grip.

To each their own. Congrats on the Cybertruck.

Investing 100k when you are 16 years old, you could be a millionaire by the time you are 35 (give or take)
Be the most popular kid of the block..., priceless !!!

Where did you buy the stripping? Been looking for the exact same type to no avail.
I just used the extra bits of OEM stripping at the ends of the run. Apparently, the leaking wasn't from the wrong type of weatherstripping, it was because it was installed in 3 sections, leaving a gap between each section. I just pinched off an appropriate amount for each gap from the ends where there was an excess, and stuck it in the two gaps where water had been pouring out. The original glue was still sticky, I think the compression of the aluminum cover holds it in place.

I did this when the truck was brand new and I didn't intend to fix the seeps, I just wanted to see how the bed was put together. Now it's completely dry.

Cost: $0.00

I could see it as a responsible purchase. High residual and about the safest car on the planet. I bought my 15 yr a 70k Bronco for its residual.
I'm trying to think up something equally stupid to share, but I'm coming up blank. ?‍♂
