First impressions?

Love most everything.

Pros:

• speed, taking friends for "rocket ship" rides. The most FUN!
• re-gen braking is the best! (only used brake pedal three times in 380 miles)
• The drive by wire and 4 wheel steering are phenomenal!
• The display is beautiful
• The best "coolness factor" (of the top three reasons why I bought it)
• Comfort is great (but I've never owned a luxury vehicle) so how could I compare?
• It has a lot of cool features, games, music, sound system, light show, frunk, tonneau cover, fan controls, rear screen, too much to list., its overwhelming. I love hi-tech, it will take a while for me to learn all the features.
• Many more things, (but I'm at work and don't have the time to write them down now)

Cons:

• The user interface and settings, needs a lot of improvement. The search, manual and help files rarely help or find. I spend 20 minutes trying to figure out simple things ~ what should be easy to find in seconds. hopefully the user interface will improve as time passes.

What are your thoughts after a couple weeks of ownership?

Are you weighing the possibility of wrapping it? Wondering because I'm likely to take delivery of mine soon, and I'm on the fence with wanting to wrap it. There are a few companies in the burbs that do this sort of work, and wondering too which one to choose if I follow through with a wrap.

I went on a road trip out west recently to sell some things to pay for my CT and got to see two Cybertrucks up close at OCDetailing in Fremont, CA, one with white interior and custom vinyl, and one with tactical grey interior and matte black PPF. The tactical grey interior was just so much better looking than the white that I called Tesla right then and there and switched my configuration. Fortunately it was not too late. The change might push me out a bit, but I doubt it since most beasts with tactical grey seem to be scheduled for October+. Mine is still scheduled for a October-December timeframe. I'm seriously considering matte black PPF wrap after seeing the one they were working on.

When did you place your order? My order was placed on August 15th, but still waiting on a VIN. At this rate I am less hopeful of taking delivery before the end of the quarter. I’m in Ann Arbor.

Tesla contacted me today. They have the truck ready for me to pick up. I'll have it this afternoon! I configured in June, VIN assigned yesterday, truck today!
