Me too bro, it’s insane, smh
Worse part of owning this truck to be honest. Which is just plain sad. Sometimes I wish I look scarier/intimidating in person so these assholes would think twice making a stupid move. Nope, just an Asian guy that's far from intimidating.

That's pretty impressive, considering you live in Wyoming. If I had to guess the least EV friendly state, I would instantly say "Wyoming", because that's the only state's legislature I know of that actually introduced a bill that would make it illegal to sell electric vehicles in the state. Of course it was all show, and no "go", but still...

If anyone gives you any shit, just tell them you bought it just in case that Democrat wins, because you needed something faster than the black SUVs the feds drive, and with enough payload capacity, for when they come to confiscate your arsenal. ?
Now that’s funny no matter who you are!

Best comment. Are you fertile?
Worst reaction was at my marina when a nice late 20’s employee looked at my Halo wrapped truck and said he hated them mostly because they were electric. This nice kid usually sees me in my Hummer and asked why I bought this. I explained to him how I feel about this. I drive a Hummer most of the time or a Lincoln (I’m 70 and live in Miami)
I have had many vehicles and lots of Ford and Chevy pick ups over the years and in Miami no one over 20 gives a vehicle a second glance since so many super cool vehicles everywhere.
so I explain to him if I only had one vehicle it would not be the Cyber Truck since in the event of having to evacuate for a major storm there would be zero chance of getting near a Tesla charger on the turnpike.
Then I explained three years ago I put deposits on two trucks and when I get the email I was on the west coast of Florida having breakfast a month ago answered it and got a vin like a day later on one truck!
I told this nice ambitious kid I had wanted an electric vehicle faster than my golf cart and finally had one.
I love this truck but coming from a background of driving pick up trucks and hauling boats I would never ever buy this for the purpose of hauling or for a real ranch truck. It’s more of a gentleman farmers truck.
my wife goes to the feed store every week for animal food (yes there are farms in Miami). He understood what I was getting at but still did not like the truck
West coast of Florida is different, it’s like you are contagious they will take photos and ask if it is a car and who makes it but keep six feet away!
Some day I will get to drive it again. We came back last night from a 250 mile round trip I charged it at home and see it going out the driveway with wife and grandkids. Hope I get to drive it again.
my youngest daughter has had her cyber truck for six months and makes excuses why her husband cannot drive it. The women in my family all prefer to drive big trucks over any sports car they have been exposed to. I want to fulfill my second truck reservation but I will have to sell a few cars first as insurance is killing me on home and vehicle. Not into fast cars for daily drivers but last night on a 100 lonely road behind three very slow spaced out vehicles it was nice to tap the gas for three seconds and pass all of them with no worries. One more thing. My granddaughters were playing you tube in back seat when I saw them and I could not imagine a better sound system it is insane!

That was tough to read. But I read the entire thing. Glad you are happy with it.

Ahemmmmm..... as a senior woman who got her Foundation in April. (#4 delivered the West Slope in Colorado).. Chick magnet???? Boys... you have no idea . From toddlers to retirees boys gather round like flies to butter.

Comments:
"Where's the machine gun?"
"What IS this?"
"Who makes it?"
"How do you open the door"
"Why do they call it a truck....(after rolling the tuneau) ....oh...."
"Do you like it?" (my typical response "Try an take the grin off my face.)
"May I take a picture?"
"Can I look inside?"

followed by the standard electric car questions, range, charging time, how fast, how much... etc.

3 middle finger solutes , 2 coal rolls (response is a shit eating grin and a happy wave- and my response on social to the coal rollers is explaining the P-100 filter efficacy in my Model S during a 2018 wildfire with a kind pat on the head: "don't waste the diesel" )

Most popular hand signal response - The GOAT.

Most typical verbal response "The Future is here!"

Working on my property my neighbors stop on the road whenever they see the truck ... I've been accused of "holding court" at the driveway gate.

Best experience so far- I drop someone off at the airport and a woman comes running after the CT (not unusual) "Wait! Wait!" - She has 3 teenage boys with her and they're going gaga over seeing the Cybertruck. We arrange a ride for the boys the next day- without their knowing. I drive into the parking lot- the three 14 year olds come out - jaws drop- complete surprise- Mom gets the best mom ever award. The 3 teens pile into the back seat and immediately start tweeting - insta-using that back screen- selfies- etc. I take them to the closest trailhead and switch to off road mode. Happy boys, happy mom- me with a big grin on my face.

I love my S, I love my Cybertruck.

I’ll start. Hopefully we all have a good sense of humor and won’t be butt hurt by comments. All for fun.

Random guy: My wife says your truck looks like a dumpster… oh yeah my wife says your wife looks like a c__ dumpster.

I reply either “you have stupid hair” or “your mom liked, though” if they’re ballsy enough to actually say anything. Usually it’s just a thumbs down or a middle finger which I just laugh at

That one will sting because it has to be true in a good amount of the cases.

Really though, for me, it will be more killing will kindness.

“I hate your truck!!!”
“Ok. I like yours. Always liked that body style. Have a good day.”

Lady at Whole Foods to me after hooking up to supercharger

lady - ”That truck is so ugly”

me - “hey lady - it’s stainless steel, not a mirror”
