for kicks i looked at 72 and 84 month options and found that 84 months was approved at 6.19% with $18K down. Didn't go with that option but was interesting to see that they are coming down a bit from a few months ago at near 7%

Pardon if this has been asked.
I used the calculator to tell me when I should be able to order my truck.
Using the formula I should be around 300K down the line.
Now I get the notice to configure.
What was the point of having a line if anyone can jump in and get a truck?
Have that many orders been cancelled?
Will I still be in line if I do nothing?
Any thoughts?

I don't think anyone is really jumping the line - this is most likely in US only and a lot of people are probably skipping due to the price and the lack of clarity on the tax credit.

Nobody really knows true numbers but based on run rate and everyones RN, it appears a lot of people are skipping or its a geographic availability thing.

All the million initial preorder holders thought the truck was gonna be $40k with 500 miles of range. I don’t think it has anything to do with cancellations and everything to do with pricing and location.

Hello, I am posting for the very first time as I just finally ordered my Cybertruck last Thursday evening (10-3-2024) a few minutes after I got the email saying I could order the non-foundation edition. I was a very early reservation holder as I ordered while Elon was still speaking at the reveal (RN11274). I have noticed that some people have already gotten a VIN number. I have not. Have others ordered and not received a VIN number yet for the non-foundation edition?

I’m a 11274 as well and got a VIN almost instantly for an AWD in the northeast.

I would go into your msgs associated with the Cybertruck order specially from your inbox and ask them and see if that assigns it any quicker. Also a quick mention that the showroom dealer guy told me that if you don’t finish step 1 in the registration that you won’t get a vin right away. Not sure on the validity of that but a quick item to note if you haven’t completed step 1 in your tasks yet.

I finished all the steps that I could do very quickly. So not sure what is up. Has anyone else not gotten a VIN?

I just got off the phone with my local Tesla location and they said that Oklahoma was at the back of the line for the Foundation and that may be why I don't have a VIN yet for the non-foundation order. It is market based it seems.
