Yeah, hopefully makes it's way to the CT very soon to improve some of the obvious existing quirks in 12.5.5.
It probably will solve all of your "quirks"

i think we know of at least two things: The last minute lane changes, and the unwillingness of the vehicle to start moving when engaging FSD from a stop. We shall see. ?

Not seeing this on Tessie yet..

I have found a couple of quirks but not like what the rest of you are reporting.

Yesterday while heading to a restaurant, FSD stopped short of turning correctly into the parking lot of the restaurant. I was just half into the parking lot and half of the truck was just left in the street.

Also, a couple of times now when the lanes merged for construction or just because, CT didn't know what to do and just kept driving straight. The one for construction was on an HOV lane on the highway and I would've plowed straight into the side of a construction medium/barrier had I not taken over.

Other than that (almost dying), it's been great. ?

I had the same problem when lanes merged. CT just wanted to plow ahead, which would have ended poorly.

FSD provides address to address routing at this point. Just look at the navigation. It took you to where the navigation ended. Sometimes that may be inside a parking lot, sometimes on the street.

Lane merges it handles. It just doesn't read the signs and know what lane is merging into which.

As to the construction, I suspect that it would have done much better than you gave it credit for. I had one yesterday with only 3 cones, placed far from each other, maybe 50 ft, and it was even a little questionable in my mind. But FSD did a perfectly awesome of determining the construction and moving over.

FSD requires learning. Not only does it learn how to drive back at the factory, but users must learn how it drives and when to trust it.

Many of these "obvious quirks" have been with FSD for several months/years. A minor upgrade won't solve them ...

Some yes, but i am referring to the CT specific ones that are not present on other Tesla vehicles.

Hopefully it fixes the late stopping. On the interstate yesterday it scared me (didn't actually hit anyone), but the biggest issue is that people behind me almost hit me.

Yeah, agreed.

For me, it has not occurred quite as much on the highways. I live in a rural area, and one the more major quirks is when moving at 60mph down a two lane rural road and when coming upon slow moving or stopped vehicle, it tends to not be very comfortable much of the time.
