cause the old truck can run AC all night? Cause the old truck will use gas and require more maintenance? Hell you could just use the CT to cool also….
You kind of made my point for me. You like the cyber truck with a sleeping bag because it’s better than an old truck that can’t run ac. And someone ells would like this beast of a trailer more then just a CT becauer the extra things it can do on top of what just the CT can. It ain’t for me but I can see the draw to it. It’s pretty nice

5 kW of power is impressive. Can truly off grid for a long time.
Those appear to be flat panels, not tilt indicated, so probably won't be able to run at full power for long.
I didn't see any indication of what the battery size was, haven't look a lot, but even 5kW may have issues charging and running at the same time. That's mainly because if you park where the panels can get full light, you are also parking in the heat of the sun and the A/C is going to need to run nearly all day.

But they already know that, hence the 6kW Cummings generator that's installed.

Nice trailer but cheaper to keep my paid for diesel truck and 36' toy hauler (only have 1.2kw solar but 6kw generator too)

im just not spending $175k on any trailer when I could spend a bit more and get a Super C RV for $250k, just cant consider it from a value / range / size perspective.
But then you've got to carry a vehicle with it. And the worse part, maintain the engine and driver train.!

Which is indeed pretty good, but I still question whether you can even cut even on charging vs draw. It appears to be fully electric, range top, convection oven, and probably even heat.

And their water dehumidifier/ recirculating system. But 5kW peak seems survivable if you needed to selectively manage and use your electricity needs. I suppose for regular camping you can also just hook up or supercharger and reverse power. The power assisted axles is a huge plus

That's ok, trailers are a pain in the ass in their own way - and it'll have a flat bed trailer with my cyber truck / dirtbike / street bike on the back - 2 of 4 will be Electric, 2 will be ICE...balanced! When they have an electric Super C, I'll take a look!

I just realized the worse part. Not a separate living area or a permanent bed.
And when the bed is down, it blocks egress to the porch. And the person to the rear has to climb over partner to go to the bathroom, or exit out the porch and come in the front door.

Not quite sure if the windows even have blinds or are LCD adjustable, the back door does appear to have blinds.

Not having a side awning may also be a big miss.

It appears to have a washing machine, but between the refrigerator and pantry, there doesn't seem to be much.

A true land yacht when hooked up to a Beast!

I assume it has bi-directional charging and that the panels can charge while driving.

I agree a side awning would be nice, could probably be an add on.

Wonder what the warranty is?

I would actually consider getting one if the CyberCamper falls through....

Every 120-150 miles maybe.

The website mentioned power assist axles, not sure how it works but I’d bet it help towing quite a bit
