I want my CT built in Texas where the 8000lb. press will be located. Dont think the press will be in Freemont.

I don't think they'll be selling the ones from Fremont,

I’ll take the proto/pilot CT. I’ve seen enough production models to be able to accept the odds and ends.

Brave! Commiting before the final specs are out. What if the final version has some killer awesome features that are not in the prototype?

Take the prototype and sell it at a mecum auction and buy 2 Tri Motor CT's. Or put it is storage and sell it later for more.

I have had more than a few prototype computer parts.

The proto soundblaster with the proto video card was the most fun... it wasn't shielded right so it clicked every time memory registers in the video card shifted. Animations on the screen sounded like those flip-disk displays they had on busses. It was either super-creepy or kinda soothing.

uhh, so yeah, I'd take a prototype too, is all I'm saying...

It will definitely be better but for me the difference is 4-5 years of use. If it comes with the same warranty I will take the Demo CT in a heartbeat. But if I find out the production version has a pass through, I will be kicking myself.
