The good news: aluminum is "infinitely" recyclable, so if they do use it during the setup of the press, they should be able to melt down the test runs with very little waste.

Still, I found it to be interesting. Yes, getting more info about this new technology would be interesting. The secret sauce, I think, is the material science for "the mix" and the operations of the Giga Press for various very large parts.

Last time people were this excited about a Cybertruck update based on rumors we got a giant nothing burger. But….
