My navigation screen went blank for the 2nd time. The only thing that appeared were faint gray lines of some roadways
This is the 2nd time it happened
The 1st time I did a reboot and it restored
Haven’t rebooted again
Waiting for tech to respond
Anyone experience this

It's by design. You should be able to drag it back into position.

Sounds like when out media unit went out to lunch. Bluetooth also stopped working at the same time. A scroll wheel reset and all back to normal.

Are you accidentally deselecting the satellite view? It’s an option that pops up when you touch the screen, next to the “where are superchargers” option.

I've seen this happen. The data feed gets messed up and the roads, and sometimes entire grid squares, don't get refreshed.

I think the poster is talking about a display mode that replaces most of the navigation map with a full-screen view of the 3D driving environment, leaving only a small grey map in the upper right corner. If so, the map view can be dragged back to the normal full display. It's not a bug, it's as designed.

And I think they are seeing the same thing I experienced with full screen lagging/ missing map data. But now I'm going to have to go try out the view you are talking about. How do I get that?

FWIW, my truck updated to 2024.33.15 and my maps have worked flawlessly today. No more blank squares.

I'm not sure, but I think you just drag the 3D view to the center of the screen. It happened to me once accidently, but I don't remember what I did.

That’s why a photo would nice. We are all trying to interpret the OP’s issue, which very well may be a non-issue.

I, too, have seen black squares of empty data. It always populates if I zoom in or out.

You can drag the edge of the screen between the map and FSD (style) 3D view of your area. You can also just hit the navigation button, it will switch between full screen FSD 3D view and larger map view. I use the full screen FSD 3D view so the rear view camera is centered (and I think and little larger) on the display.

Yep, it doesn’t appear to be anything the OP is doing wrong. I suggest zooming out next time that happens and seeing if the map populates then. ATTACH=full]70869[/ATTACH]
