Congrats! I'm an over the top audiophile and would agree the stereo is superb! Try some high res music files with a thumb drive plugged into the glove compartment usb port. You will be even more astonished! Enjoy

I am into mine a little over a month. Aside from a passenger side window correction, I agree with the day one and day two excitement. I live in MN, and put the vehicle through its power paces. Planning and attention to destination seem to be key. Looking forward to road trips now.

Turn off the "Immersive Sound". The effect immersive sound makes is that you feel you are in a larger space, but the timing of the music becomes confused. What makes music, music, is timing. Your brain will work hard to make sense of the music when immersive sound is turned on, this makes for listening fatigue. You can try a test. Try to tap your foot to the music with immersive sound on, then turn immersive off and you will see that you can tap your foot to the music with greater ease.

I am both a professional musician as well as 44 years professional audio specialist. Turn off that damned Immersive sound!!
Thank you! I knew I must have been missing something! I mean I thought the stereo was ok, but not all that. I will try turning off the immersive sound and fine tuning the balance and fade.

Wish me luck. I have old ears and am missing a large frequency range due to Tinnitus. I have listened to way too many jet engines and firearms in my life (and yes, I wore hearing protection, ear plugs and even noise cancelling headsets when they became available!), but still there is only so much band width left for music.... :) I do, however, still enjoy a nice jazz riff, classical track or a little Jimmy Buffet.

Congrats and welcome to the family.

After 4.5 years of waiting for this truck, the day finally came. I picked up in Fife, WA a few days ago. Delivery experience was great. The hard part was getting used to the new controls and blind spots, WHILE negotiating Seattle's god-awful traffic. But after about 3 or 4 hours of driving I felt comfortable with it. After two days, I'm already in love with how it feels and drives.

I was worried I might be disappointed, because of all the promises and expectations that come with this truck. But in all honesty I couldn't be happier with how this thing ended up. Zero disappointment. So far.

- I was blown away by the sound system. It feels like being in a nightclub. And looks like it too.
- I love how the truck pauses/plays your music when you exit/enter the cab. This is a music MACHINE. That is one example of many little automations and touches that Tesla excels at. You do not simply DRIVE this thing, you EXPERIENCE it.
- Ride/handling is excellent. Driving is effortless and SO comfortable. Entry/exit auto lowers the truck....it's easy to get in and out compared to most trucks.
- Acceleration 0-60 on sport mode is breathtaking (this is just the bare-bones AWD model)
- UI and phone controls are fast, responsive, well designed.
- Camera views are good and clear. I had no problem getting used to the on-screen rear view camera. I set it to always be on the screen while in drive. Tonneau closed while driving not a big deal.
- New horn sounds like a firetruck, I dig it.
- It's amazing how this spaceship of a vehicle can morph from a sporty race car to a lifted off-road truck with the push of a few buttons.
- Supercharging and home charging are dead simple.

Overall, this is by far the best vehicle I've ever driven. If you're still waiting to pull the trigger, just do yourself a favor and buy the damn thing already.

Congrats!!!

Panel alignment looks excellent from what I can see in your photo.
I was mesmerized by that too. Seems like they’re perfecting it now. I’m jealous lol

What issues did you have?

I’m picking mine up this Tuesday (VIN: 52xxx)
Just a few scratches on left sail panel and tailgate… looks like they tried to repair it before I got there.. and failed ??

you guys are having amazing CT experience-Congratulations! I love it but bit too big-hopefully the three days off was for retooling to make a smaller/mid size Cybertruck for both domestic & international market-but waiting isn't horrible as T$LA keeps spiking every day.

Oh, please! Why do people think manufacturing cars is so easy? Making a smaller Cybertruck would take years of re-engineering, mold-making, sourcing new giga-presses, fabricating new air bending metal brakes, testing prototypes, submitting holmolgation data for approval, crash testing, compliance regulations, winter testing, new battery pack engineering, etc. etc. etc. Sure, they could apply their Cybertruck learnings to a smaller model, but it would still take years and new investment of well over a billion dollars.

The bottom line is we are unlikely to see a smaller Cybertruck within 2 years, if ever. When Elon said maybe they would make a smaller one for other markets he was mostly just keeping the option open, telling people what they wanted to hear, it was not the go-ahead to start investing money in that! A three-day production line shutdown has zero to do with a smaller Cybertruck.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's just not how auto manufacturing works. The amount of work that goes into a new model is ungodly, even if it has the same styling. Tesla will sell millions of full-sized Cybertrucks before any mini-Cybertrucks hit the market.

Congrats and welcome to the club! We are all happy for you. I'm a few months in. I just drove it today to run a few errands after it sat for a couple of weeks and am still happy with it. I happened to run into another CT owner at Menards. He had a Beast wrapped in white. We both geeked out for a minute.

Also installed my CT puddle lights, a couple of L track cleats, bumper protector , cyberturck cable holder, and cargo bins today. Loving every minute of it.
Tesla Cybertruck My day finally came. Best vehicle ever. 20241207_213410

Welcome to da club! What took you so long?
It's not a small sum of money, but most people have NO idea what a great truck it actually is. If you base your opinion mostly on what you read online, you will think it's a flawed concept. Nothing could be further from the truth.
