Really Nice video. I agree with most of what he has said.

I have had many, many fast and unique cars. I grew up in the auto business. DAD owned a salvage yard, garage and a used car dealership. WE had dealer tags as 16-year-olds (the laws have since changed ) and enjoyed driving the LOT.

The CT is one of the more expensive cars I have ever owned, it is the second fastest, but by far the smoothest, and without a doubt the coolest. (I love Sci-fi, too.)

I am pretty chill with my cars... particularly if they are trucks. I like them clean and organized but they are a tool, and if they get dirty, that doesn't freak me out, even if I don't get around to cleaning them until the next weekend. LOL. I have even come to embrace the fingerprints. Guess what, fingerprints happen, live with it, lol (thank you @HaulingAss for helping my OCD!). The stainless steel is awesome and the less you F' with it the better it gets!

I am a frugal person by nature and looked very hard at buying this vehicle. I just wanted an EV for no other reason than it was an EV. I have had multiple F-150/250/350's in my life so I had to look very hard at the Lighting, too. Even now, with the CT, I occasionally suffer from FRUNK envy (lol). The Lightning is a nice truck, but it lacked that certain "je ne sais quoi" that the CT possessed. I am very pleased with my final decision. (Well, except for that damn rearview mirror! ELON?!!)

BTW, I have not driven a Rivian, they look nice... but they had horrible news yesterday with a Consumer Reports article. Not to rain on anybody, and I know nothing more than this report...

I'm not following you here. The Cybertruck is a better truck than the F-150 Lightning in every way. Payload capacity, towing a heavy trailer safely, covered payload volume, off-road ground clearance, climbing ability on slippery surfaces, efficient operation, maneuverability on tight jobsites, and durability in rugged environments.

I'm not following you here. The Cybertruck is a better truck than the F-150 Lightning in every way. Payload capacity, towing a heavy trailer safely, covered payload volume, off-road ground clearance, climbing ability on slippery surfaces, efficient operation, maneuverability on tight jobsites, and durability in rugged environments.

Not to mention it needs an extended range battery to reach the range of a CB with A/S tires. Let’s not even start talking about the “sports car” half of the CT and just focus on the truck half.

I definitely want a smaller/midsize Cybertruck-never a truck person-so, don't care what others say or feel. Hope Tesla will make a smaller version for the international market and domestic as well. Lately, the Cybertruck news related to China-hopefully Tesla has to shrink the size a bit.

I think that it still makes sense to comment on this .

I honestly always find it strange when you make a video titled "Why I chose <literally_anything>," but there's always someone who thinks the video is about their particular situation (which usually is completely different).

Some people order steak in a restaurant, others salad, and some prefer to eat at home. All choices are fine if they work for you, and they're not if they don't ?‍

I applaud that. People who just post meaningless negative drivel make people not want to spend time here. It's just noise. And there is a lot of noise here.

I don't mind people posting negative stuff, but it has to be real, not fake stuff designed to fool those who don't know any differently.
