Ok so I guess I am still going to Uber for New Years Eve because it all sounds to sketchy for a safe ride home!

Installed the update when I got to work this morning.

I have had FSD since the first build they pushed out to model 3s. This is the absolute smoothest build to date. I haven’t played with the hurry or chill profiles yet, but standard was amazing. Did about 25 miles on highway/city/neighborhood streets, performed really well in all regards no interruptions

Got 13 this morning too, look forward to trying today on my about ~12 mile drive into town. With 12.5+ it crosses double yellow lines on my rural roads always, won't turn onto our larger highway at all and just stalls, then almost kills me on the exit too fast, then crosses consistently into oncoming traffic on my only right turn. I'd die about 3-4 times every trip if used it without interventions. All that and the speed is horrid, its too slow, then into town in retains like 70 into the 65/55/44/35 limits if don't slow it down about 2-3 times manually.

Update: It is better/smoother than the old 12.5 version for sure. It still has some issues of course but it seems to plan a little earlier. Doesn't cross lines as much now most of the time. It has a couple new things today for me where it kind of turned onto a normal road then hesitated and stayed at 2-3 mph until gave it some "gas". I do like the new speed profiles, not perfect but seems to work for me ok at 15% offset for now... still figuring that out. I do like that you can use the wheel to increase/decrease and push left/right to change the mode from chill/standard/hurry.

‪Can anyone give me a rough estimate on how long it took for you to upgrade/download the new V13 in a cybertruck? I started mine at home on WiFi and it’s 2.5 hours and only at 79%. All previous updates only took 55 minutes. ‬

I can’t say for my cyber truck yet because I don’t have it yet but on my model S plaid it only took about the usual 55 minutes. I think I read someone post here that their cyber truck only took 30 minutes.

Got V13 no noticeable difference during driver.
Still ignores the same stop signs as V12
Does not stop for school busses.
Still no summon
Speed profile is nice but not as good as just having autopilot or minimal lane changes
I expect it to improve faster but so far not impressed.

Mine just finished and it was less than 30 minutes. It said it would take 55 minutes.

I think it has trouble driving on rural roads. Our service road is 2 way, it always drives on the wrong side (left lane) unless there's a oncoming car in that lane, ignoring the yellow lines. It's also super slow on unmarked lanes. I don't think Tesla is actively training it on rural unmarked roads.

really.....I have to add throttle to get mine over 70mph on freeway and after a mile or two it slowly come back to 70, would like to be able to set it or put into a higher range....sure it is coming...patiently waiting.
You would think all CT owners would get the install at the same time. I haven’t received mine yet? What’s the hold up?

I don't have to turn mine off. I just press the button and say "Text Donna (or whoever)." Then, press the button when the window pops up, tell it my text and hit the button to send. Much better than picking up a phone. Like, is this 2005?
Hot Donna?

Night and day. 1 hour commute. Smooth lane changes on highway. Actually approaches country stop signs at a reasonable speed. Feels a lot more comfortable on back roads.

This was my first drive in v13. I went to work, to the store, and back home. I drove on city streets, freeways, etc. I didn't need to push on the pedal, take over, or feel trepidation. On Hurry mode, the car was assertive and consistently above the speed limit. When changing lanes, it would accelerate past the car and move over, not slow down to a crawl to get behind. First test, 100%. Hopefully, it gets a good night's sleep for tomorrow. Total miles were about 30.
