I’ve been waiting for AMP research to release some auto steps as I had them on my 2500HD and loved them. I’m seeing this on e-bay but doesn’t show any company name. Anyone know about them or have them yet? I would really feel more comfortable with a known company like AMP

I saw these on eBay a couple of months ago and sent the link to T-Sportline to take a look and let me know if it’s legit for the CT and if they could do the install if I purchased them. No response yet. They look almost exactly like my AMP research steps I have on my Bronco that I love. Wonder if they are the same but for CT. It’s not uncommon for a Chinese factory engaged to manufacture a product for an American brand to ‘leak’ some unbranded units out on channels like eBay. If they were AMP Research quality I’d be all over this - especially at this price! . I’ll be following this thread to see if someone pulls the trigger and informs us all.

No need, it’s already low enough to get it like an SUV, I’m confused
lol why are you “confused”? My wife is 5’4” she has to do a little jump or slide if you will off the seat to get out. My grandmother is 85 and to be honest on my 2500HD it did have 295 tires and front level kit and the steps were a game changer for me also! Saved my seat edge from getting ruined quicker also. Also allot of “suv” have running. Boards stock from the factory. I don’t like the look that’s the reasons for the auto fold up so it goes away where not in use , also a thing I noticed a is our trucks don’t have a handle on the window pillar like most do to grab onto to help get in or exiting . I won’t use entry mode if it was up to me I would leave it in high mode at all times

What most is making me question the product is the fact that In 1 of there photos it is indeed a Amp step and logos but other photos I don’t see the label

Did you know the whole truck drops down for entry, barely have to step up. And you don’t need to worry about it looking awful.

The steps are only visible when the door is opened and immediately retract when the door is closed. The open and closing process is actually very cool and the steps light-up when opened - helpful in the dark. So the cool clean look of the CT that we love is not affected at all. Just adds some needed accessibility for those that require it.

That’s cool, I was referring to the static ones some people got, that actually the same height as the floor.

I agree. I realize the fixed static ones work aesthetically for some people. Just not my preference.

Those Hansshow ones look really good. I guess I need to understand how you get power to them without wires sticking out.

Take a look at the blurry image it shows for the included parts. Is that an OBD2 plug at the end of that cable?
