I still keep a container of baby wipes (from the Costco pack) in the driver's side door pocket. Maybe a holdover from ye olde days of '24, but they sure are useful for wiping/cleaning everything.

I've got that same thing going on. I chalked it up to my left elbow resting on that corner and deforming the foam.

I wonder if having the truck synthetically "rev it's engine"/ play star trek red alert sound, and rock forward and back for the first few inches is enough to deal with this situation. I think about it, too, after the waymo in SF ran over the cat that was hiding under it.

A few bumpy roads at high speed until the sounds stop should fix that.
