  1. What Everyone is Missing w/ Quad Motor Cybertruck.

What about remote charging? Get 10 or 20 feet away from the charger and charge? IDK if possible.
  2. If Quad Motor Cybertruck is $89,900, are you still in?

Yes. Quad motor will probably have longer range, a few more capabilities.
  3. Cybertruck vs F-150 Lightning vs Rivian R1T - Timing, Pricing, Range, Performance Comparison

The CT beats all rivals in every metric. including the most important, price. One thing about the F-150 Lightning is its 10 inch ground clearance. The CT can go up to 16 inches of clearance. This is very important off road. I like the F-150 design. Another weak point of the F-150 will be its...
  4. CyberTruck production start date = April 2022

Musk has never said this. Deliveries should start at the beginning of 2022. Workers have been told to report in June 2021.
  5. Tesla owner with Mustang Mach-E reports threats on social media from Tesla fans

No one should be criticized for ANY car they buy. Having said that, the Mach E has some faults. The fit and finish is outstanding, probably better than Tesla. The design is impressive. The software is another story. On youtube channel 'EV and Chill' they have a Tesla and a Mach E. When she...
  6. Tri-Motor Delay?

I have read that 4680 battery production is ahead of schedule.
  7. Can Tesla Cybertruck Actually Stop Bullets? Technical Analysis by a Firearms Instructor [** NO POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS **]

It is my understanding the windows are bullet proof, also. Does anyone know where Tesla has said they are not?
  8. Will the Cybertruck use Tesla's newly granted Electromagnetic Windshield Wiper patent?

I agree with you. Translucent aluminum is very dense and the surface is smooth so nothing sticks to it, unlike glass. I use Rain X to spray on the windows of my truck and I do not turn my wipers on in light rain. This window material on the CT is like having super Rain X.
  9. I Think Cybertruck Manufacturing Run Will be Short Lived

I understand your statement now. I think all types of Tesla vehicles will be needed for robotaxis. Hopefully, Tesla will continue to produce vehicles for the private and commercial sector, but they would definitely make more money producing for the commercial sector. I am not sure Musk is all...
  10. I Think Cybertruck Manufacturing Run Will be Short Lived

The CT manufacturing run will not be short lived, unless you call 1.5 million vehicles 'short lived'. This doesn't include new orders. An angular body means cheap production costs. .30 drag coefficient is better than all trucks and most cars. No paint means cheap production cost. Thick steel...
  11. Cybertruck imagined with side mirrors and windshield wiper

Cameras give a more complete picture. If someone swerves into your lane from the side or back of you, and you have FSD, your vehicle would take evasive action. Same would be true for any unsafe events in front of you. Computer reaction time is faster than human reaction time.
  12. Cybertruck confirmed specs / features list

I have heard Tesla has taken out a patent for a self inflation hub design....inflate the tires from inside the cab. Don't know if this will cover the entire line (rear wheel drive, dual motor, tri-motor) or just on the most expensive CTs.
  13. Cybertruck confirmed specs / features list

Tesla doesn't have dealerships. They have distribution/service points. There will be no price gouging. You will deal directly with Tesla online. Not sure about accessories....but if there are any, it will be through Tesla online. And then, of course, there will be aftermarket accessories.
  14. Is 4th Quarter 2021 a realistic delivery date for the Cybertruck?

I am not sure when you wrote this. If you look at a five month comparison between Giga Berlin and Giga Texas, Texas is ahead. Buildings are being constructed at Texas, while there are no buildings in the Berlin shot. Texas is also working 3 shifts (around the clock). Texas will be finished in...
  15. Cybertruck imagined with side mirrors and windshield wiper

Tesla is lobbying the NHTSA so the Cybertruck will not have to have side mirrors....or wipers. Not sure how that is progressing. Cybertruck production is still 9 or 10 months away, so it may not have these items. Cameras are safer and give a more complete picture and wipers may be replaced by...
