Ah good to know. I searched everywhere and then defaulted to grok.
Out of curiosity where'd you see that?
I saw it on my vehicle. It was delivered to the SC with the armor installed.

Ordered an AWD "premium" on 2/6 (wasn't called premium then), and pick up is scheduled for tomorrow. They are transferring FSD from a Foundation series (I've heard several times this wasn't possible, but apparently it is). Pick up is at the mothership/direct delivery center as well.

Premium AWD Core Wheels in NJ ordered 2/26 VIN assigned 3/17…in transit 3/17...still says in transit...Totowa NJ SC keeps saying that it is getting delayed in transit...pushing my delivery date back further and further...now they're saying they do not expect delivery this month. Anyone else who ordered in this time frame running into this??

This beauty is finally home.

they really stepped up their production game in 2026. Quality was near perfect aside from little marks on the stainless that they got out pretty quick.

Agreed! Picked up my CB today and thought the same. Super quiet, super aligned all over. I’m amazed! Enjoy!

Congrats!

I think Tesla has stepped up their game regarding fit and finish.

My wife’s Juniper Model Y exterior panels are aligned perfectly. Zero panels gaps, paint was flawlessly applied, all panels are flush with each other, etc. The interior is as tight as a drum with zero squeaks, rattles, abnormal noises, etc.

Her 2021 was a different story. We had to make a service appointment to address slightly misaligned body panels from the factory. We actually rejected 2 VIN‘s due to cosmetic paint flaws (debris under the paint) that would have required repainting panels to correct.

Fit and finish is worlds better on my new one vs. the foundation series. Its not even close. The high pitched chirp from the front motor/inverter is gone as well.

I got lucky. We bought our 2021 used and it's almost perfect. Maybe the previous owner corrected the issues? Lol

I order my second beast on 11-15-2025. I have a 2024 foundation beast my wife is now driving - and it's also now pink o_O. My thought was I wanted to get the 2026 but wanted it at the end of 2025. I placed the order and was shown that it would be 3-5 weeks to get it... perfect! I got a message stating the delivery window would be 12/12 -12/31. Knowing how Tesla likes to get as much pushed out by year end I would certainly get it. NOPE, on Dec 17 when i asked about an update, they told me 1/30 - 3/27 and then last week they told me Feb 3 - March 17. This seems weird as they aren't selling a lot of them and I keep checking to see if any are in inventory locally and never see anything be 2025 demo's which I DO NOT want.

Anyone else experiencing this or am I an outlier? The only thing weird about my order is I also ordered the Terrestrial Armor Package on it.
Nah you’re not an outlier, this is classic Tesla chaos lol. Those early delivery windows are basically placeholders, once they start pushing dates like that it means your config isn’t lined up yet. Armor package probably slowing you down too, anything non standard gets kicked around more. I’d stop checking inventory daily, just wait for VIN, that’s when it actually gets real.

I placed my order on March 13 and I still dont have a vin. Site still.says 5-7 weeks and I spoke to a tesla salesperson and they said my eta is 8-10 weeks. I'm so confused and tired of checking 50 times a.day to see if a vin had been assigned. Refresh after refresh.
But from looking at the forum it seems it's taking about a month just to get a vin.
I'm in California, hopefully I'll get it sooner than later...
