Is this primarily a rotation issue or alignment issue? I had my rotation done about 2 weeks ago but it’s still quite shaky. Tires still have about 25k miles on them. Tire pressure at 55 though—may be too high. It’s just that I work out of it and put a lot of weight on it. What’s everyone else’s experience?

Guaranteed the inner foam lining separated from the tire. This happened to me last year. And don’t waste your time trying to get any type of warranty or anything that has to do with replacements from Tesla or Goodyear. It is a f$&@ing joke. This happened to mine with 8000 miles and they offered me like 20.00 a tire as a prorated warranty.

I had same issue at interstate speeds above 70mph. It turned out it was the interior foam lining in the all-terrain tires on my CB. Tesla replace mine under warranty without charge with new revised ones that don't have the foam lining. I cannot tell any difference in the ride or noise level. My truck now rides smoothly at high speeds. I had about 10k miles on it when they changed the tires. They said this was a common issue with the original all-terrain tires.

You lucky son of a bitch. I got absolutely screwed!!!! Tesla And Goodyear treated me like total dogshit. That was over a year ago and I still get pissed off thinking about the chain of events that took place.

That blows!
Good year was going to replace it (pro-rated) until I reached out to Tesla. Just a few months ago Tesla told me they initiated a "new tire campaign." So the tire was replaced for free, as warranty work.

Customer service is so hit and miss. Sometimes you have to talk to multiple people to eventually get anywhere.

Could be the inner lining that gave loose..
My tires were early Goodyear production. The foam liners gave way at 12,000 miles. Wicked CT shake above 55-60 MPH. Tesla replaced all four through Goodyear warranty. Good luck

Look at your rear view mirror if it vibrates as well at those speeds it’s a door panel issue .
That was my problem . It’s fixed but not perfect .
They replaced one of my tires but still had the same issue after .

Absolutely this. On our Model Y, anything above 65/70mph would trigger it. Def detached foam/dampener inside tire.

If it's always been that way from the start of ownership it could be a front drive unit issue. I had to visit 4 different service centers before anyone would take my concerns seriously enough to truly look into it as they kept telling me it was normal but I have other Teslas and knew it wasn't normal and finally I had an awesome tech go on a test drive with me that finally felt what I was feeling at 70+ mph and replaced the front drive unit and never had any issues since. If it's always been a vibration or shake look into that, if it started happening later in ownership it could be like the other commentors the inner foam separating.

my experience was quite different. Called Goodyear got a claim number for low tread brought it to a authorize Goodyear dealer and they gave me $300 a tire which was essentially 50% off for new tires…

Yeah they literally bent me over and gave it to me dry. No one would help, just finger pointing and no resolutions.

My FS CB with AT tires will shake and vibrate violently at above 85mph. It's annoying as heck since the CB is rated for 128mph and I love to test the top speed once in a while. When I slow down to 85 or below, it calms down. I'll take it to SC and have a technician ride along to see if in fact the tire foams are separated causing the body shake and tire vibration.
