Not my CT, but impressive safety outcome considering the speed at time of head-on collision.

I hope whoever that idiot was gets severe punishment and jail time. That is not an accident. That person is either dangerous or extremely stupid and potentially both. Thank God you were in a 7000 pound vehicle but imagine that’s a mother with three kids in the car in a compact. I can only hope that person eliminated themselves from the gene pool. And while that may sound harsh put anybody you love in the same situation as OP just minding your business, but some idiot decided they had to go a few miles per hour faster and try and pass on a blind hill.

At first I wanted to grant the driver some grace, as the road just before the hill was a passing zone. Perhaps they under-estimated the distance needed to overtake, or worse, the guy getting passed got triggered and sped up.

But the passed vehicle was a truck pulling an RV, with limited acceleration available. And the passing vehicle was still way behind the truck as it crested the hill. They must have foolishly started to overtake at the top of the hill.

Btw, this was an offset collision, not a head on
Offset collisions are even more dangerous, less of the bumper/crash structures are directly involved to dissipate collision energy.

Any bets when MSM picks up this story? Jalopnik or FredFlinstone's Electrek?

I'm impressed with how the Cybertruck protects its people. Great example!

The last-second swerve turned it into more of a glancing blow. Both vehicles continued in their respective directions (although the other vehicle fared far worse lol).

If the CT had hit an immovable object, or one with equal momentum, then the collision would have looked more like the offset crash test:
