I have a 6-foot ladder that’s 75 inches long when folded, which I frequently take on jobs. I needed a way to position it at an angle so it would fit with the CT tonneau cover closed, while still allowing me to access my smuggler’s compartment (which I use as a tool box). This is what I came up with using 1x1 and 1x3 T-slot aluminum framing I had laying around. The knobs let me attach other things and release the ladder easily.

The only custom part is what I call a L-Track To Anything Adaptor (LTTAA). It provides an attachment point for standard 1/4-20 screws in multiple orientations, all while ensuring it doesn’t interfere with the bed liner.

I may build it again, but next time with black anodized or powder coated parts.

5 pack of APs? Cameras?

I too deploy Unifi and have the same issue with my 6’. Your out of box thinking is spot on and creative. I abandoned the 6’ and use a smaller little giant, heavier, but also versatile.

My Little Giant gets it done too, but as you said much heavier. I avoid hauling it when I can.

Update: My Grandson had a better idea. Now using two bungie cords instead of the lower frame.

Update: This is the black anodized version of my L-Track To Anything Adaptor (LTTAA). Got it made by SendCutSend.com using the AI parts design tool. They offer many color options in anodized or powder coat. It was a real struggle to decide between anodized and powder coat. The price was about the same. Less than $60 ($7.30 each) in quantity of 8. They actually sent me ten and a piece of candy. Love doing business with those guys. (No affiliation or request for promotion from them.)
