I have a 6-foot ladder that’s 75 inches long when folded, which I frequently take on jobs. I needed a way to position it at an angle so it would fit with the CT tonneau cover closed, while still allowing me to access my smuggler’s compartment (which I use as a tool box). This is what I came up with using 1x1 and 1x3 T-slot aluminum framing I had laying around. The knobs let me attach other things and release the ladder easily.
The only custom part is what I call a L-Track To Anything Adaptor (LTTAA). It provides an attachment point for standard 1/4-20 screws in multiple orientations, all while ensuring it doesn’t interfere with the bed liner.
I may build it again, but next time with black anodized or powder coated parts.
