It may not be related but wanted to ask if anyone has had hundreds of Sentry events in the “Aware” category being recorded the past three nights since the latest software update earlier this week? Seems to occur around ~1am through ~5am. The first night was ~500+, second night 106, and last night was 260. I started to take screenshots attached and do a bulk delete every morning since it uses lots of memory. I also haven’t moved the truck much so hopefully it’s not rodents running around… I’m on 2026.2.9.9 and v14.3.2. For the rodent possibility I sprayed the wheels and wells with rodent spray last night and tonight I’m going to try parking down the street. Thinking one or more factors from the update being possibly more sensitive, rodents/bugs, or other environmental stuff. Any thoughts?

I had the reverse problem: after the last update, I got zero Sentry events when parked on the street all day. Seems extremely unlikely.

I did a "two thumb salute" reboot, but don't use Sentry at home so I've not tested it again.

Wow, you watched any of the videos to see what’s flagging it? I once had a Kasa camera mounted outside at the driveway and that sucker would alert me every time the sun hid behind a cloud, a bird would chirp, or a pesky bee looking to make a nest.

I’ve had this issue a few times. Shadows seem to trigger sentry mode in my case.

I'm waking up each morning to hundreds of events on our Cybertruck and MY since 14.3.2. Seems like sensitivity levels were set to 11 or something. Quite frustrating. I've also noticed that the lights are not flashing for every one of these events (which is good for this particular issue, but concerning for legitimate event triggers).

Related, there's no such thing as a time later than 2400 hours. 2400 is fine, but then it should go to 0001 and so on.

Yea, haven’t figured it out yet, still happening seemingly every night, has become part of the morning routine to be greeted with the new sentry events pop-up in the hundreds when getting in the truck and closing the door and then doing a bulk delete, even with 2026.2.9.10 and 14.3.2. I started to check the app at night and turning Sentry off when I notice it starting racking up the alerts. Thinking of submitting to my Service Center soon to see if they can help…

Wondering if your neighbor has a night vision camera in the field of view, perhaps it’s triggering the sentry due to a lighting change. Or something to that effect. Mine seems normal still our kids trigger it when leaving for the buss in the morning 3-4 events, nothing like yours.

I have multiple cameras with IR sensors, as well as the two different Teslas that are regularly parked near each other that also have IR, but have never seen this frequency of Sentry events in our 5 years of ownership. Seeing reports of this all over online affecting multiple models. Something definitely seems to have changed with 2026.2.9.10/14.3.2.

I've had close to 30 or so a few times now which is annoying and concerning. But 250?! Jeez

I too feel its an update thing as it didnt do it before , just started past couple weeks.

I park my beast in a garage 20 feet from our road and I get tons of sentry clips in the morning, which I'm almost positive they are triggered by cars going to work in the morning, passing by my garage doors.

And just like that, my problem has seemingly been resolved! Only a handful/normal amount of legit Sentry triggers (cat, passing car, etc.) on our Cybertruck and MY over the past two nights.

Update - Sentry has been pretty quiet/seemingly back to normal on our Cybertruck and MY lately, until last night. It rained all night, and I had over 150 events on the Cybertruck but none on the MY. Seems like Tesla may be adjusting sensitivity levels differently between the models?

This happens for me when it precipitates, particularly drizzling rain
