"Cybertruck says hello when you approach" light bar animation?

The video shows a dynamic front and rear light display as you approach your locked and parked Cybertruck.

Pretty cool. I approached my parked Cybertruck the other evening, waiting to see this headlight display as I approached. But all I saw were the little illuminated lights on the door pillars that I can press to open the door.

I called Tesla today about this, asking how I can turn on this feature. The advisor said something about tapping Controls in the app and then tapping "Easter Eggs". Huh? I didn't see Easter Eggs, so I tapped all over the place (careful not to tap icons that make things happen). Nothing! That's all the advisor could tell me other than "maybe wait for the next update."

Any ideas? Any of your Cybertrucks do this? I apologize if this topic was already posted. I couldn't find it.

Guess I wasn't the only one who noticed that. I do know when I walk away my lights do some sort of flash, but not like this. +following

Yeah, I see what you describe (and hear it) when I walk away. But this is about "saying hello" when you approach.

Anyway, if you figure out what kind of Easter Egg in the Tesla app activates this feature, please post it here!!

it does it when you unlock the truck from your app, not automatically.

Would be really neat if they allowed you to make this the default way the car wakes and unlocks

Apparently this has been active for a while… I can just never enjoy it because when the truck senses my presence I’m already opening the door..

Why not adjust or have settings to weaken upon approach, without having to take phone out of pocket, scroll, unlock…?

You can add the Tesla widget to your home screen and make one of the four buttons the unlock button to make it faster. If you use a smartwatch, you might be able to use that too?

They have always done this, you have to lock/unlock it though from a distance. It's a really quick animation.
