Looking at getting XR+ for sides and windshield. Any issues with those who have the windshield tinted when wearing polarized sunglasses or visibility at nite?

Regarding evening, No, unless you’re in very rural areas with no lighting and low beams. This is at 50%

Has anyone else tinted the top of their windshield like this? Is this a normal amount?
Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

Mines 5% UV ceramic. Helps a lot & almost never have to pull down the visor. IMO it looks better from outside too.

Someone needs to make a high-end tint with a gradual fade. I think it's the harsh line that bothers me. Utility is there, but aesthetically, it's not for me. @hemiarch, what all do you have on your dashboard? A little bit of everything. You even have speaker grills! (how do you like them?) Agree. Gradual would be very nice. Even better, like glasses that get darker in the sunlight. Speaker grills?
I store my visor shade things in that space. Is that what you mean?

In this picture I’ve got the Starlink in the middle and that’s my top fit sun visor which I put in if it’s very sunny. They fit behind the stock visors. Keeps cabin overheat protection that much happier too.

The dash is a convenient place to store them. One on each side.
Or do you mean these?

I “won” those on this forum at one point. I really do like them. They add a certain pizzaz to the cabin. The black chrome is the way to go in my opinion. Blend a little bit.

Have the same tint line with 5% and love it. Rarely need to use the visors.

I like it. 5% to bottom of the camera. Makes it dark enough above the visor in the normal tint area that if the visor is down it doesn't matter if sun shines in up there. Looks sleeker on the outside too. For some reason this picture makes it look darker than normal inside, must be because it was really bright outside.

I did 5% tint down to the bottom of the camera housing too, and love it. It's not too low, in fact it is about an inch higher than the AS1 line where the tint can legally go to.
