Retrofit ought to be a joy. Not…
They designed the camera modules to be easily replaced. Prob need to drop a reservoir into the tailgate though. May not be too bad if we have good instructions.

I personally don't think having an additional reservoir to have to fill/maintain would be something most would want, nor would Tesla find as an acceptable design. Done right they need to run a water line from the front reservoir to the rear, which would probably be almost a no go as far as retrofits typically come by.

If you use a high pressure jet nozzle to spray the camera clean, your reservoir doesn't need to be large. The engineers would croak if they had to run a washer fluid line the entire length of the vehicle lol.

I don't know. It's not like the CT is a highly encapsulated vehicle. 3m VHB some clips along the underbody with some clips for the retro, while they add holes for future models.

Change of front reservoir for an added outlet.

It's certainly possible, but doesn't sound practical to me (and with obviously failure points). especially not at volume.

Im assuming when you top off your washer fluid, that’s what’s used for the front camera (and, potentially in the future, the rear camera) cleaner. If there’s a separate reservoir, please do correct me ASAP lol

A better option would be another camera located more towards the top of the roofline looking backwards or 360. no camera with the tailgate down is a bigger problem then a dirty camera, for people that use the truck as a truck
