Richmond, VA Service Center Update

I stopped by the Richmond showroom before they closed today. Take this with a grain of salt since I don't think the sales people have the most updated information or even care to know, but I was told they have no info when they might get a "show" SAWD, even after I mentioned Charlotte, NC had one. He also said he just came up from the Norfolk, VA center and their were none there either. To his credit, there was none on the Richmond lot.

As I was leaving I decided to check out their off-site overflow lot, about 2 miles away and I didn't find any SAWDs..... but they had a unicorn (RWD) there! Looked like it had been there a while, no tags and was pretty dirty. I almost missed it since it has the 20" wheels but what made me stop was no tonneau.

I love the interior. The grey textile seats look great to me and better yet, the wife liked them. If I had to guess, this was a trade in but I should have snagged the VIN. If I get a chance I'll call them this week to find out the story. I'd like to at least look it over if it's for sale.

That seem right friends. The bot now says June 16-29. Vehicle status: currently in production. had to close the bot and open again. I think the hold probably is over for us

Exactly. I’m hoping it tightens up too. Not to envy or anything, but I don’t get that some 2/22 orders are getting June ETAs meanwhile 2/20s like you and I who once had that range are now pushed back multiple months.

Those used PAWDs on the Tesla site are looking more and more attractive to me now.
