$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

This will be our 3rd Tesla and a VIN was always attached when we received pre-delivery tasks. It’s very, very strange how no VIN is listed.

I suspect a glitch in the system. I'm not getting my hopes up until I receive a VIN.

Tesla stated June delivery when I placed my order.

Ordered 2/20 7am (SoCal)

yeah looks like they had to change something since I couldn't do anything and I had a VIN. Something was wrong with the system.

Anybody here ever done Tesla insurance? Looks like Florida got it and I can do it after the delivery appt is scheduled. Usually I use Progressive.

I believe they install it at the factory if you do it after the fact you have to do it at service center might take a few weeks and it's 500$ more expensive

They had that option for my newest M3 and it added 2 weeks on to the delivery date. I cancelled and did it in a day myself.

I did on a y, it was substantially cheaper than Geico. I cared about range versus performance so my score was high. It would not have been as high for my speeding wife, so price would have been up. Up how much, I don't know. Sucks to be watched by insurance.

I ordered on February 27 and was told to expect delivery, possibly in March 2027. I just got the message to start the delivery paperwork. No VIN yet.

I KNOW this is because I sent off my Cybertruck money to my broker to buy the SpaceX IPO just yesterday. Lol! I hope it still takes a while. I really want the stock.

It's just end of quarter. They need to gauge who is still active. And also let people to complete tasks, so if there would be a cancellation - next in line would be ready immediately.
Another point towards it being strategic move - my another order for premium AWD that was showing September today switchen to 17-30 *June*

You guys remember the summer of 2024 when people were saying it might be 2026 before they get called up to place their order and then suddenly there was no line and everyone got an invite. Strong possibility every Sawd order will be fulfilled before summers end.

Doubt it. That was because the price almost doubled. Now the $59k orders adjusted for inflation are more or less the same as the original dual motor. At this point the $59k Cybertruck is a crazy bargain. Also if you had your Cybertruck money in TSLA stock in 2019 and now are going to cash in a little you've had your Cybertruck paid for several times over.
