I'm just glad they chose to axe the Model S/X over the CT, presumably due to the Optimus robots.
How would Cybercab production affect the Texas lines of Y and CT?
Got mine installed last night as well. Took it for a spin and have noticed that the parking is a lot more snippy. Other things seem to be about the same so far.
I would like to make one request: to customize the turn signal sound, especially to distinguish left from right turns.
I find myself having to verify which direction the truck wants to turn or change lanes on the freeway. Often, with FSD, I'd like to verify which direction it wants to go.
As...
Me too. The only time it doesn't stop is where there is NO stop sign (i.e., an yield sign or nothing). Thus, coming out of parking lots onto a major street, it may not come to a complete stop, like a stop sign.
I live in a home with an alley that leads to my driveway, where my CT charger is located.
I've managed to get it to recognize my driveway as the "Charger" spot (although it still does not back into the driveway, and I have to manually do so).
However, when others drive (with another profile)...
I noticed that when it has to make multi-point turns, it takes a bit....perhaps too cautious?
For example, I can do a 3-point turn, and CT takes over 5 or 6-point turns to complete the same task.
When you’re ready to go, open the Tesla app, tap ‘Smart Summon’ and your Tesla can drive to you, under your supervision.* Using its external cameras to capture a 360-degree view of its surroundings, your vehicle can navigate tight spaces, stop for pedestrians, and maneuver around other vehicles...
Traveled from Houston to Dallas today. Roads were mostly good until I was getting into DFW territory, where some snow/ice was present. Was pretty impressed with the overall handling of CT and FSD, and I was pleased to say the least.
The only gripe I had on the freeway in Dallas was that it kept...
I have to get back to Dallas from Houston. The freeway may be an issue if I need to pass other cars (or if FSD will attempt to do it with no tracks and just snow/ice).
I noticed my right USB port (in the rear) sometimes charges my laptop and other times it does not (works for days or weeks, then stops for a few days).
I was thinking that it was the cable, but this would explain it. Not sure why the intermittency is, though.
This is good info -
btw - Discount Tire broke the center clips of my plastic wheel covers when replacing my tires. Didn't realize for several days that the wheel covers were making a rattling noise when going at slow speeds. This had scratched up various places on my wheel. I need this to...
