A lot of great info here, and it gives me a lot of options.
I am unsure about the portable battery as I can't count on my wife to charge it diligently, and the fridge would be good+ for her shopping needs in the summer here in Dallas. Thus, I may end up getting the sub trunk for her 3 and just...
I want a fridge that I can use between my CT and my wife's Model 3. I don't think the Model 3 has a 12V in the trunk, so if there are any good ideas out there...
Note, I need something simple and effective, since I usually only have 2 passengers for the CT, and the rear seats are folded up...
I occasionally need to carry an extension ladder. I need something that I can attach and detach to the truck that is fairly simple and not that time time-consuming. I don't want anything that is semi-permanent, as it will detract from the vehicle's appearance. I also want the truck to go...
Has there been a marginal improvement of FSD? I noticed a couple of things yesterday:
1) It slowed down in a school zone
2) It started FSD from a parked position in a parking lot
I've seen it do these very seldom before, so perhaps I'm just jumping the gun on a rare observance.
I travel to different homeowners every day for work using my CT. Most are positive or indifferent.
I had 1 out of maybe 200 that did not want any sight of the truck near their home (mostly as to how their neighbors would perceive them). DFW suburbs and surrounding counties.
Ok, I just want something cheap, so with your explanation, I think I will get the interlock and the plug to get started to see how that goes.
I have yet to experience a major power outage (we survived the Winter TX Armageddon in 2021) since apparently we are the 'hospital grid', so knock on...
This idea really interests me and I want to ask my electrician if he can help set this up for me.
I read that you typically need a transfer switch if using a generator when switching from utility. Is one not needed when feeding off of your CT?
Also, when you say install a 50 Amp breaker, do...
That worked!
I just restarted the screen (no red Tesla logo appeared, and it remained dark, so I released the buttons). And after a while, the CT logo appeared, and the Outlets menu is now back.
Thanks for your help.
I noticed my batteries for my camera were not charging this morning (I have it plugged into my 110V in my console). I went to look for the Outlets menu to turn the outlets on, but could not find the menu anywhere.... the search function does not bring it up either.
Anyone else having this...
How easy/cumbersome will it be to install on an 'as-needed' basis? I don't see myself using one for my daily grind, but on a family trip, etc. it can come in handy.
