I don't. BUT,,,,, not to be that guy you just really exceeded the weight of that hitch. Yes. I know..check it out. It states that exact setup, tops, 150 lbs. I use my racks, and run a rachet strap from the bike carrier to the rack. Seems to help. Just a suggestion. Maybe look into it...
I have seen something like this. I was also watching MUNRO live and it was a "cost" mention on why one was an induction motor. Well, F^#% me sideways but 108k I am more interested in improvement. Would love to figure out something. Need to get some enterprising adventurer to install more...
good to know. Maybe swap the other one? My thought after a year is this truck has possibilities through software, or some hardware swaps to go farther than it does. Truck is amazing. Range is a let down.
since the AWD has a induction motor on front and a permanent magnet motor in the back, and the beast has a permanent magnet in the front. Would it be possible to swap in a permanent magnet in front for better efficiency, and swap the front drive shafts for increased strength? Seems the...
got a few questions about this. I love my CT. No joke, it is amazing. But everything I do needs just a bit more range. I need an honest solid 375 miles. So I am thinking of a RST. since you are on here with one. Whats up? Want a CT? Wish you had or are you happy.
fascinating. This is good info. however, since I cannot adjust in the settings all I did was drive like I normally do. I generally do same stuff every day for work. Seems I have more battery now at end of the day. I have not tried a boat pull to the lake yet.
I know all the drawbacks. Time, capacity, ect. But for those of you who have used a solar generator (actually used one) to charge your trucks when parked, or at home using solar, maybe taken it camping, ect. Recommendations? I have my eye on the Ecoflow Delta 3 pro. Has 220. But the delta...
WOW!! acceleration is insane. It handles great. They are not that much smaller, about 2"
Range has gone up but I do not have any real world numbers yet. I Got Nitto Grappler in a 265/60/20. For summer they should be great. Still have my Toyo's on my stock rims for winter but these are fun.
YES. can be done. just has to be designed right. But batteries are stupid. As long as all the volts, watts, amps, ect are the same the battery will work.
I call bs a bit. It can be done. Just has not. And after working with RC cars and such for so long the bigger better battery would be absolutely possible. Free charging it while driving could be an issue, but I can always hope.
YES,,, YES YES YES. THIS I would love to have a gas generator "plug" for the bed for long trips. Making it a Hybrid of sorts or a place to plug in my solar generator while driving down the road. I have been and will be patiently waiting for a company to make a replacement aftermarket battery...
cool cat! The Tsportsline front bumper uses a similar setup. They might be able to just sell the parts to make your 48v power lead charge that 12 v. Their kit comes with one and it works for my Morrimoto's
