If Tesla reads this... Often we have to move our trucks/cars from one parking spot to another. Had to do that again just now. Listened to the heater come on, listened to all these systems just fire up for no damn reason. How about a button on top and bottom of the forward back slider that...
had a trailer attached. Windows up. No cats on rig. nothing, no wind, ect. Alarm kept going off. Could not find any settings or way to shut it off with phone. Any Ideas?
now, just need to figure out how to "tap" into those leads on the battery for the range extender we will never get. Seems if we could just feed into that,,,,, then we could have a true range extender.
On the ol UTube there are two videos that illustrate range is more affected by wind. Weight really doesn't amount to much at all. Weird but there it is.
I always figured it would be a great market for aftermarket companies to tap into. If Tesla did no worries. But I get upgrades constantly in other things that are aftermarket and dominate. I would 100 percent do this and spend up to 30k
I wanted one. I was told it would be "years' before I could get one. So I went AWD. Damn thing is stupid fast and I drive it on chill most all the time. I would not use a beast. at all. But that being said I am glad I did not. I have talked to several around here who say they make noises...
still dream of this rig, even after owning one. No matter what happens, it always makes me smile. It is so fun to drive. I feel very safe in it and my aging wife and parents can get in very easy as well. No matter what people say, it is fantastic.
I would say you are spot on. I would have only added a set of grab handles so my wife can get into it easier. She can barely move as it is. My folks also would love the handles. I just cannot stop wanting to drive it.
I am emotionally attached to my EGO!! I love her, she loves me and I have added way too much stuff to trade it in. Plus I have heard beasts have some weird issues with noise off road? anyway, wish you all luck.
did you like that lift rod kit? did you see much of a difference? does it still drop to the ground if you have it drop on entry? I like a taller truck but my wife and parents are disables so low is good.
agreed. My Fords, Rams and Chevy's all weigh more than this. This is my only personal truck and only half ton and it dominates. I get confused as to why they are always putting it up against a ram 2500 cummins. Just weird. It is so much fun to drive.
old chevy trucks with bad batteries. Camping listening to the radio too long, old car sitting for a while. Incompetence is just not in that equation. The point was the battery is really nice to have. Have a good day.
in regards to the 48v thing, I have jumped several friends trucks using that 12v battery in the frunk. I have also used it in many applications charging toys, running weird lake accessories, ect. I was very surprised how much I like having that 12v so easy. Just a thought.
I also have a eco flow I use. I did have someone say something like that so I used it. Takes a lot longer but plugged it into the power pole, and charged the truck using it. Didn't make friends that way, but it worked.
There was a totally trucked up episode where he used a 11k Champion and it worked great. Something about it being able to reach a "level 2" I have a 9k Firman and am thinking of switching to the 11k Champion just for that reason. Best I can get with 9k is 5500 actual watts into the truck...
