Back in the early 2000s there was a short time that Apple made their primary laptop outta Titanium. It was a great case compared to sheet metal they had been using, no worry about dents or scratches, super hard material and it wasn't even very thick. You could toss it down the staircase or use...
I think the existence of the driver's display was an implied promise, but nothing in a demo is an actual promise. The price was what got me excited, easily $20K under what I woulda expected, so they still have time to bring it in $20K under what I would expect to pay today (Escalade anyone?)...
With all the talk of Tesla front loading the range display on the cars it would be interesting if they do that on the trucks too. People have been asking me for years what my range per charge is and I say the ~300 mile number on the display when I hit 100% charge, but I don't ever get that...
One of my favorite reasons to get the CT over other EVs is the fact that you are spending EV dollars and you don't have to worry about when you get your first ding. Like @Jhodgesatmb said I don't want a gorgeous body on a vehicle that I'm likely to beat up
They do show a CCS plug in the video...
Nope, that's probably where the air that comes in via the AC vents gets outta the cab, the rest of the Teslas have that at the bottom of the rear quarter panels, but they fill with water when in boat mode.
It would be GREAT if the 3/Y could be made to trailer behind another vehicle. I really wanna bring my Tesla to the East Coast, but I don't wanna sleep in it the whole way, so hooking it to my RV would allow me to have a bed to sleep in but when I get across the country I can park my RV and then...
Wonder how soon after the initial build out they'll announce the CyberSUV. If I can't tow a fifth-wheel or roll a motorcycle in I don't NEED the bed. And if I can still put a 4x8 sheet inside with the seats folded down an SUV would be a better camping vehicle.
If the original WC works to deliver 80a to the CT I'll probably have to re-wire it as I only put in big enough wire to power 60a/48a delivered. Or perhaps I can do like Tesla and monitor cable temps and derate if they get warm.
That's what was documented in the links you sent, please enlighten us and stop with the cryptic msgs. What features do you allege the original Roadster was capable of? Did it have outlets in the car you could plug into? Perhaps just the cigarette lighter? Did it have the ability to sync with the...

Tesla’s V2G Strategy
Test setup with VP10
Tesla’s initial approach to exploring V2G is to focus on ancillary services that can be performed with the vehicle operating as a grid-controlled load...
