Arrived at charger with 0% and 1 mi, is this bad?

It’s fine, just takes longer to charge. Glad you made it.

    Accident

I had my CT worked on here after owning it only 1 month when I got hit by an idiot in a parking lot. They did a super job, communicated often, and went the extra mile to make it perfect.

[FIXED!] Violent rattle at 85mph, anyone else?

@kappaknight I recommend you go immediately to a service center and have them check the front knuckle assembly for a loose bolt. This happened to me and they never seen it prior. But everything’s new on CT. Took them a weeks to get parts and figure out if anything else was loose. Felt like what...

I was bummed out to see a sea of cybertrucks in the Tesla lot south of Houston

Actually, FS is a discontinued option package. Do you think you can get a new FS from Tesla for less than what we all paid? No.

Harvester Gas-Powered Range Extender for Cybertruck

I’ll wait for the Tesla Range Extender to drop in price. Can you imagine the noise and vibration of a 10 hp motor running in your vault? No thanks!

I was bummed out to see a sea of cybertrucks in the Tesla lot south of Houston

What price drop are you talking about? Beta testers paid $20k extra for the privilege of being early adopters, aka Foundation Series. MSRP hasn’t changed. Check your invoice.

Can you sit / stand on Cybertruck tailgate? Weight limit?

This is a truck made for truck people doing truck things. It would be a laughable joke if you couldn’t sit on the tailgate ?

    Home wash question

I use a pressure washer at home. None of that ever happens. I’ve had my CT for 5 months and washed it 3 times already. No issues whatsoever. Car wash mode would be the last thing you want to do if you have an inclined driveway.

My only 2 cars are EVs. is that OK?

I’m a 2 EV home also, no ICE vehicles. I live in a state where the grid gets whacked by tornadoes, hurricanes, and annual freezes. The only solution for the paranoid prepper is solar + batteries. My only generator is the CT. The longest outage I’ve experienced is 9 hours after Beryl, but...

New WhistlinDiesel: Cybertruck vs. F-150 Frame & Hitch Video

And if they don’t? They can’t address every idiot’s idea for how to break their truck. Like I tell all the F350 idiots, it wasn’t designed for that kind of towing, and the F350 can’t compete with the CT off-road. This F150 trial shows just one more corner case that needs to be avoided. Don’t...

    Quantifying overnight ("phantom") drain

Super simple solution that works for most situations, power down the truck over night. Most convenience features still work. Drastic reduction in vampire drain. The power button is one aspect I truly dislike of all other EVs, but when in use I still use walk-away locking without powering down...

Anyone using the V2 Wall Charger with their CT?

My v2 works great with the CT. I get 48A on a 60A breaker. Waiting on my v3 + PowerShare install.

    Tire Inflator I’m using

It’s actually 12v, NOT 120v. I have this unit and run it with a 120v-12v converter that can handle the high amperage. Works great, but the heat generation is insane. I would never buy one that didn’t have the duty cycle and overheat protection. Most people will buy these for off roading, so 20...

    2024.20.6 Update Is Here

Version numbers are significant. CY.XX.YY where CY is Calendar Year (not meaningful) means XX is a major release and YY is a minor release. If CY were significant then CY would mean major release which would be limited to annual major releases. That would make XX a minor release which could...

    F-150 Recall

CT is iconic and significant. F-150 is blasé and mediocre so nobody cares, except owners. The attention on CT is the purest form of flattery. If you can’t handle the attention then don’t drive one. Any CT owner is used to the attention by now.

    It's a miracle!! If I hadn't seen it myself I wouldn't believe it...

The wheels will fall off cuz the brakes are too small. Better upgrade the tranny before trying the lumber.

    Tire Inflator I’m using

Whoa, touchy touchy. Didn’t know you were so vested in that Chinese POS. It’s not my silly statement, it’s the manufacturer’s. I might be misreading that, but I’ve seen many reviews where these cheapies can’t bring up a truck tire. The MFr’s point out the issues with those little jobbies...

    Tire Inflator I’m using

I like that one but specs might not support off-road deflation to ~36 psi. My interim solution is this Harbor Freight special until I decide to go with MF or VIAIR. Works well so far but need to do the 36 psi test. MCGRAW 3 Gallon 1/3 HP 110 PSI Oil-Free Hot Dog Air Compressor - Item 57572...

    Tire Inflator I’m using

FWIW, if you want to use existing high current 12v on the CT use the trailer hitch electrical. No converters required. Simply adapt a lights and brakes connector in place of battery alligator clips or cigarette light plug. Cheap and clean solution. https://a.co/d/aj2I6i9 is the 7 pin...

What did you deflate the tires to? I assume you have the standard AT tires. Great job Cash on the editing!
