As said earlier, Tesla frequently makes changes at random times, but almost never does something significant with the change of model year. Unlike other manufacturers, they also usually just flip the model year with the calendar, not in late summer/early fall.
I expect a Cybertruck update...
It should be noted that here in Canada, a mysterious maple smell following you around is sign of good fortune. It means the original gnome-like inhabitants of the land, the Kanatians, are close bye and taking interest in your endeavors. Should you find a random poutine on your seat, be sure...
I think it has a good chance of arrival. Spread the cost of production over two vehicles. The key is getting costs down and volume up of the Cyber line in general; I think the launch of the new base model suggests this is possible.
Think of Tesla's like Game Consoles. They launch with bleeding edge technology, and sell to wealthy people at a high price in smaller numbers. As the tech matures, costs come down and they introduce cheaper variants to sell to the mass market. It's not about effort, the vehicle was just too...

I almost gave a little ramble on this on the Lightning cancellation thread. I was expecting it. It's just a really Elon thing to do, to lower the price when a competitor gives up. With Ford - and RAM - giving up on a pure EV full size truck because they can't make it work, Tesla dropping the...
The CT is so much better than the Gladiator, it's like they say in Pulp Fiction... "Same Ballpark? Not even the same sport!"
I say that as someone who likes Jeeps.
