Maybe it's supposed to be this? https://www.tesery.com/products/cybertruck-door-armrest-pads-4-pack-black-silicone-for-comfort-protection
The description still doesn't make sense. The whole website seems pretty sketchy.
I hope Jasper isn't giving up on this. I'm waiting to see what he comes up with for a roof rack / cross bars. It would be nice if the design allowed for OEM-like options, but I'm sure he will come up with something high quality.
I thought it was an interesting idea and it would certainly appeal to a specific buyer (probably many of us here), but probably not the easiest way to sell a house (especially if you don't want to get rid of the truck). I don't know why some people get so worked up over other people's ideas...
This happens all the time in my CyberBeast, regardless of traffic, but almost never in my Model 3. The Beast does NOT want to get out of the passing lane.
Mine has turned into the oncoming lane once on a left turn a few weeks ago. It showed no signs of correcting, so I took over. No oncoming traffic was close and there were no cars to follow.
I'm surprised that seal fixed the leaking for you. Most posts I have seen on here indicate that the problem is the seal behind that, close to the window that is the problem. Tesla has a service bulletin where they will install another slat to cover those holes and make it look more finished...
But, what if you died from the exhaust fumes (sarcasm)? :p
Good for you! I don't think I could sleep, but I might be tempted to try given the right circumstances.
I agree that it looks like it was vandalized. In my opinion, Tesla should have disclosed that and offered at least a small discount because, despite their attempts, it will never be perfect again (not that any Cybertruck ever is). I'm sure it looks much better than it did and I'm sure the...
Maybe reach out to someone from the sales team and see if they can help you. It should work and sometimes they can do things that customers can't on the front end.
By the time you get to delivery, it's a bit too late unless there is a major issue. You've already signed the loan paperwork or wired the money and committed to the decision. In my case, they even delivered it to my home, which was nice, but it also meant I couldn't storm out of the sales...
Milling noise? Not that I have noticed, but I'll have to look that one up and listen more closely. Is it supposed to be in the front or the rear? I haven't experienced the tri-motor front "clu-clunk" yet either.
The wind noise is definitely louder on mine than the dual-motor I test drove. I...
That's good to know. Thank you for the info. Maybe I'll try adjusting it myself. I like the idea of buying an extra at that price too if you install a camera. Your install looks great!
Sorry James, I didn't answer your other question about the extra slat. Like Klis's link talks about, if you don't have the extra slat, there is a gap between the tonneau and the rear appliqué and you can see the rivets or whatever is beneath that. The extra slat apparently doesn't do much to...
