im looking to maybe get a FS as well. What is your vin range? 30K? This has me more leaning to a fresh built one.

That's good to know. Thank you for the info. Maybe I'll try adjusting it myself. I like the idea of buying an extra at that price too if you install a camera. Your install looks great!
Yeah you can just unplug the video, swap the rear. Snaps into place so takes a little muscle to pop both ends.

Mine was VIN 177xx so I don’t think anything changed minus the quick release hardware for the cybertent.

thats a later vin so would of thought it would of been better, does your motors make any milling noise around 40-50 mph?
Milling noise? Not that I have noticed, but I'll have to look that one up and listen more closely. Is it supposed to be in the front or the rear? I haven't experienced the tri-motor front "clu-clunk" yet either.
The wind noise is definitely louder on mine than the dual-motor I test drove. I presume that is mostly because of the cantrail seals though.

Picked up my CB July ‘24. No problems with it, fit and finish was good but my delivery experience was horrible! Dirty truck and staff had no time to go over operating procedures.
Fortunately, my SC was not the delivery center. The SC, High Point, NC has been on point. Don’t know if I want to have my can’t sail repaired? 15K and amazing experience in the Beast! Tesla insurance helps me keep the
speed down and FSD is a definite safe aid. Premiums have been dropping, safety score up to 97!

I'm baffled as to why buyers don't reject delivery when a vehicle doesn't meet fit and finish expectation's.

By the time you get to delivery, it's a bit too late unless there is a major issue. You've already signed the loan paperwork or wired the money and committed to the decision. In my case, they even delivered it to my home, which was nice, but it also meant I couldn't storm out of the sales office shouting explitives. ?
Perhaps I should have. It just doesn't feel like much of an option in the moment.
I also have a good relationship with the sales manager and I am sure they will take care of things. It's just frustrating and disappointing when reality is different than expectations.

Correct. The fix for water ingress by the rear window is the foam / weather seal on the rear appliqué. There are threads on this forum for how to remove it and replace the weather seal, and there's a famous YT vid where an owner shows how he replaced it (and tested it by spraying water on the tonneau).
Are you saying the vault is supposed to be water tight? Some water always gets into my truck bed when it rains or when I go through the carwash.

It's not.
But many of us expect/want it to be.

Yes, It is one of the left-over Foundation Series that they have been struggling to sell. They must have left the bed open for some time too as there is dirt, fading, and staining inside the bed. It's too bad. Some simple care and consideration could have preserved it in much better condition. The discount and lifetime supercharging are the only reasons I bought a Foundation Series. Newer builds are probably better built.
It’s called lot rot. Happens on every vehicle left sitting for months or more on lot. I would never buy any vehicle that wasn’t fresh.

It won’t be waterproof but replacing that seal will stop a majority of the leaks as that is the location where most water intrusion comes in.
