I’m near CO but a lot lower and in the dry windy part of the country. Sometimes I get lucky and have a tailwind on my way out and on my way back. So are you gonna pass on your order before you get a vin? Good luck with whichever way you go.
I could never get more than ~450 miles on 37’s with my Raptor driving 80-85 on the highway. Pretty amazing you can with 38’s. I never thought of the CT as an equivalent of a Raptor or TRX even. I don’t think many vehicles can be an equivalent of them either, without much modification. If a...
Got an email from Tesla ([email protected]) that I have a vin. Opened my app after it needed an update and my vin is now there. You should get an email and it will show in your app.
My bill today for electricity was -$274.62. Could not be happier with my solar and battery. I’m not in the ercot part of Texas and my utility company was quick to be helpful during the install and connection. However they do not offer net metering like they do in neighboring states.
Mine does a good job at keeping water out. I drive a lot of dirt/gravel roads and the dust eventually gets everywhere. I wouldn’t expect a retractable tonneau cover to be waterproof or dust proof. I’ve never had issues with anything I keep under it. If I need it to stay absolutely dry or dust...
I have the powered version of this one on my Lightning and it is definitely not waterproof or dust proof.

I have a powered retractable tonneau on my Lightning. It is not waterproof or dust proof . I’m guessing I was just being realistic by thinking neither would the CT’s vault cover.
The CT is the reason I installed solar and batteries for my home. While waiting for a CT to materialize, I’ve been driving and enjoying my Lightning for about 18 months. I’ve put around 38k miles on it now. I like it so much I’m keeping it and I’m still excited about getting a VIN for my FS...
Initial night driving from Kyle from Out of Spec didn’t mention the headlights moving in sync with the steering wheel. Seems like an easy thing to notice on a first impression drive like he has done.
I believe Tesla’s matrix lighting is what other manufacturers call adaptive lighting that moves...
I’m guessing the manual available in your 3 is different than what’s available online. I think the manuals online from Tesla only show 2 anchors available for any model.
Having 3 LATCH anchors across 3 seats in a CT would mean you can have 3 CSS installed. There are convertible seats meant for from birth to 9 years that are less than 17 inches. To make it work is definitely up to the person that needs 3 and what they’re willing to use to make them fit.
I’d ask your tax professional to be clear. Tesla is a qualified EV manufacturer for the ccv $7500 credit. There is no price cap. There is a weight difference where a vehicle that weighs over 14,000 lbs qualifies for a $40,000 credit. So if you’re getting a Tesla semi that’d work. One thing to...
