    PCS part waiting time

I was told yesterday that they are about 8 weeks out on incoming PCS components. This is in the Midwest, if that matters.

80% of CyberTrucks have this problem with charging: PCS

Mine popped while sitting still charging last night. Got the notification that charging (40A, Tesla wall connector) stopped around 8PM @ 70%. I had plugged in around an hour earlier due to a pretty gnarly midwest storm that was incoming last night, in case we lost power. Went out and checked...

Women sues Tesla claiming Cybertruck crash caused by FSD (video). Musk responds & owners test with their own FSD

The rear emergency escape cables are hidden and not obvious by design. those rear emergency release cables need to NOT be visible or obvious as they override the child lock... for safety. the front door emergency releases are so obvious that I have to tell people repeatedly to NOT pull the...

How to clean the holes in ventilated seats

This. aside from a good vacuum, compressed air is one of my most used tools when doing a full interior detail. the blue plastic focused air tip that you see on commercial carwash compressors can be had for cheap on amazon. this and a steam vac, a good interior cleaner, and a cleaning brush will...

How to clean the holes in ventilated seats

Try a vacuum. I have detailed a lot of nasty seats with clogged perforations. Using a seat or interior safe but aggressive cleaner, a soft seat brush and a good vacuum gets 95%. a quality steam vacuum - 100%.

    sentry mode playing loud music

I’ve never heard of sentry playing audible music outside the vehicle. the vehicle alarm on the other hand, when triggered, plays very aggressive classical music at full volume INSIDE the vehicle.

    Tailgate not flush

I did the exact same as above, but with a vise and a sharp drill bit. I did not enlarge the diameter, but just held the bit vertical and pulled with hand pressure to elongate the hole into an oval. It worked perfectly, and they are now adjustable latch plates, just like the pic posted above...

    Autopilot

not to get in an argument with you because I do agree with you, both on this and many many other things you post on this forum, I used the word ā€œimpliedā€ for that reason. I, what I consider to be a reasonable person of average intelligence, would expect a feature that both exists on every other...

    Autopilot

While I agree with you, Tesla never should have listed something in our purchase agreements that might not come to fruition. That’s on them. Base autopilot wasn’t vaporware to us that ordered in 2024, like fsd was to those who paid for it back in 2017+. this isn’t like the range extender...

    Autopilot

To add even more, they have changed the options listed on our specs without informing us. Traffic aware cruise control was never listed under the specs portion of the app. It used to say ā€œautopilotā€, and a separate line item with fsd. I have a screen shot of the old items, along with a current...

    Autopilot

I’m also annoyed by this. I tend to like base autopilot more. It’s worked great for 6 years on both of my model 3’s. there seems to be some reading between the lines as Tesla has matured through the years, but for many many years, the definition of ā€œbase autopilotā€ was when you use TACC in...

    Ventilated Seat Seems Weak

I stand corrected. I could have sworn when I looked at engineering diagrams that these seats were the type to push air through the membrane surface. I went out and messed around with the seats for myself, along with knowing Mongo knows his stuff, I shall edit my original post. I will say that...

FSD discount for early reservation holders is ending…

No, it wouldn't. Software doesn’t count towards MSRP/tax incentives.

    Dashboard MagSafe charger by TWRAPS

Your customer service was originally why we purchased some accessories from you early last spring prior to our CT delivery. Really appreciate this kind of support, and wouldn't even expect a free replacement as I was negligent in even notifying you that it broke right away. There needs to be...

    Dashboard MagSafe charger by TWRAPS

I love your products and have many., the floor tray being my favorite, I did buy this phone mount last year and the 3d print layers in the thin clasping part came apart the first time I mounted it. I still use the charging MagSafe puck that came with it on a different mount, and meant to contact...

    Fridge on wheels!

I have the exact same decal in the exact same spot! It gets lots of laughs, and has confused a few in the older generation. One of my favorite things I’ve added to the ct.

    Reset seat occupancy sensors issue?

Do you have aftermarket seat covers on, by chance? i was having the same issue with my front passenger seat, but realized I had the lower seat cover tightened too tightly. since It’s the rear, you can buckle and set it as a car seat to get it to leave you alone.

    šŸ“ and Honda Civic

Ouch! That’s crazy to think. my rate here in the Midwest is 7.5 cents per kWh, all the time with no rate plans or ev plans. Insanely cheap, as compared to the 350 a month I was spending to drive my Silverado the 5 years prior. however California is expensive because it’s worth it ha! At least...
