My rear driver side seat pressure sensor is either malfunctioning or out of sync. It shows that the seat is occupied and give me a fasten seatbelt alert even with no one in the seat. When a person is in the seat and they buckle, it does go away.

Has anyone had this and seen it resolved or done something to reset it? Or will this take a service center visit?

Do you have aftermarket seat covers on, by chance? i was having the same issue with my front passenger seat, but realized I had the lower seat cover tightened too tightly.

since It’s the rear, you can buckle and set it as a car seat to get it to leave you alone.

I only get that when the puppy decides to go to the back seat and squash my hat on the seat.

I’d try a two button salute reset and maybe a power off through the safety menu with the seat empty. Has happened to me when removing a car seat and that fixed my problem.
