I was reading this thread yesterday thinking whew lucky I haven’t had this problem. Last night plugged in… 24a. PCS errors. Appointment in 3 weeks. Not trusting it will make it that long. Feels like we should get priority treatment for this.
This sucks. I would rather have model S with 48v and SBW than have my TSLA quadruple in value.. to buy what? A lucid that can’t drive me home after a night out? Probably means roadster is permanent vaporware too, which he probably knew when he claimed it would fly. Hmph
This update brought 1) inability to activate FSD where it always worked before, at least 5 times in one hour drive, no sun, no traffic, no reason 2) taking wrong turns, dashing across lanes and turning right at a light when navigation was set miles ago and still showed left. Even left blinker...
OEM size didn't exist when I pulled the trigger. They have now expanded the sizes available, but improved range without noticible impact on performance on/off road means I will probably get this size again.
Check out the Nitto TerraGrappler G3. I got 275/65-20 LR E and didn't notice the 1/2" reduction at all, but they IMPROVED range 1-3% over the OEM GY AT's, in spite of having much more aggressive tread. I reguarly beat projected range on longer trips now, when I used to go over by ~5%, so...
Thanks, guess I overreacted, glad it has a fix. Don’t know how I missed that, oh wait, because no blue dot next to dynamics for a new feature! Also didn’t appreciate it being on by default. But just first world Tesla problems, all good :)
Just got 2025.14.6. Now when I engage FSD it automatically selects the Comfort profile with a note that Autopilot automatically selected it. This is stupid, because I already use Custom with Chill mode and low ride height, but every time I engage FSD my truck raises to medium, which affects...
1. Wake up
2. Drink coffee
3. Get phone or key card
4. Go to truck
5. Open truck door
6. Ummm I forgot what’s next, such a complicated problem, will have to defer to the geniuses in the group to figure this out. Good luck.
Yes ever since Elon pissed off the liberals I get that more in the city, but pay it no mind, they haven’t one to understand.
Still far more joy and amazement out here in small town USA. Especially the silver haired crowd. Love talking to those ladies and men north of 80 they all get a kick out...
Where do you get FSD CT for $72.5k? Apples to oranges... not to mention other perks that came with $100k version. Yes, it's cheaper now, but not $27.5k cheaper if comparing apples to apples.
Yeah, Elon is on record stating pothole avoidance is in the plan, yet here we are several versions later and it's still going 30mph over speedbumps and aiming for ditches... I'm not sure they have any idea how to even implement this.
Oddly, after using it a few more times, it seems less ditch hugging that it was on the first couple drives. Not sure if it's learning now between updates or what but I'll take it. Still crosses yellow a lot more than previous version tho. Also likes to change lanes stupidly, getting in left lane...
Got it. Back to driving in the ditch, and over the double yellow, like the first version CT FSD was. Better in some nuanced ways, but worse in the important ways. :(
After driving one in 2014 and itching for a couple years, my first Tesla ('16 MS90D) was a lease, finally able to enter the Tesla world because of screamin deal at end of year drive to get them out the door, and tax credit baked in instead of having to claim like purchase. $8k down $660/mo vs...
WTF is with the attitude? Feels like Reddit in here today. I was not arguing about any of that.
So I can just go pay to have SCs upgraded? I've been driving Teslas as primary vehicle for 9+ years. I experienced the SC expansion firshand and it's SOOO much better than it was. I would never own...
Not when towing. Cannot make it to any of them. Also, it's 3 hours one way, further the other way. V3 is fine, just would be nice to have more v4, especially when V2 is the only option. E.g. I75 TN to FL would be a lot nicer without 5+ hours of charging.
Most influencers don't wheel. Wheelers don't have time to make videos, we're too busy wheelin. CT beats every Jeep and 4x4 I've owned in 30 years (not with ~$50k mods; that wouldn't be fair comparison). Caveat- articulation sucks, as with any independent suspension vehicle. Not for the most...
