I haven’t found a single tire shop that can do an alignment in Los Angeles. usually I go to tire Central in San Gabriel for all of my tire needs, but they don’t have the software/specs/rack to do it. Not entirely sure what they’re missing, but the guy, whom I’ve known for years, said it could be...
My concern would be this wouldn’t work on surfaces where you don’t have clearance for the inner roller. But for sure it looks like it’d work on the door…
My cybertruck has a few burrs and sharp edges on some doors and other parts of the frame. What grit would yall recommend for taking these off by hand and smoothing the edges? Some areas are clearly deburred and the sharp edge has been beveled off (we’re talking a bevel of maybe 0.5 or 1 mm at...
I haven't had the fortune of taking my CT up to the Bay Area, but in my X I thought the 580 had some black magic fuckery going on--exactly every other "gate" would make my selectable transponder beep. and the 101 gates usually didn't make it beep except on one or two of them. Have you noticed...
That’s so weird. My transponders are the old square kind with the 213 toggle which I got maybe 10 or 15 years ago from Metro Expresslanes and they still work. for my model S, I recall that they switched windshield composition and transponders would work in certain locations for certain years...
I hold mine up to the glass roof--not the windshield, the rear piece of glass--and it gets recognized in the LA/OC lanes. The new OC 405 lanes don't make it beep though but I am almost 100% sure it does recognize passenger count. Not sure why the no beep thing
Stock rear window tint is I think somewhere between 20 and 25. I got xpel prime XR plus 20% for the front side windows and quarters, and in bright bright light it seems just a little DARKER than the stock rears.
I feel like nobody gawks at my cybertruck anymore, but for the first three or four months it was truly enjoyable seeing the shock on people's faces when they saw it :ROFLMAO:
OP I arrived at the same conclusion numerically. but of course it's also assuming we all wanted those accessories and trim...it's simply that there was no option to say no thanks, I don't want the premium stuff. IMO still all totally worth it
I strongly feel the speed limit setting has significant room for UI optimization. rolling the scroll wheels up and down will make the up and down arrows blink on the screen, but it still says "MAX" and the speed doesn't change. the only input is via pressing on the accelerator, and that's only...
I use AP and now FSD a lot and have driven a decent amount with it (maybe 60-100k miles? probably more) on non-CT teslas. I think the braking curve of the CT is very different than any of the S3XY series, and initially it's a little unsettling--it feels like it's braking later than on those...
While I largely agree, I think FSD on the CT is completely on par with FSD on my other teslas. I've used it for a couple hundred miles yet and no close calls. I'm very pleased with it and think that they really took the time to release a fully baked product.
ketchup is almost as bad. so no ketchup either. the squircle pressure isn't the same as what I'm used to with my round steering wheel teslas...I haven't owned a yoke Tesla. Got a strike today from not enough squircle pressure (I wear a hat when I drive). I may just stick with vision monitoring...
