I’m referring to the 3rd party’s 2 piece that comes with the fridge, I used a piece of wood against the lower trim gave it a good hit and snapped in solid. It’s firm in place + I can remove it easily.

I got it to snap down had to use a rubber mallet, it fits nice and secure. Plus I put about 2” of Velcro on the top of the lid and dash, now the lid stays up.

I’m having trouble getting the bottom trim piece to snap in place. How are others getting it to fit?

I’m thinking of Velcro on the dash to hold it open, I noticed on the other thread on the cooler, there door doesn’t have soft close. Mine does so maybe they can adjust the lid.
