Found this at the local gas station today. Look closer.... entire truck sprayed in bed liner material. If I don't get the CT, I'm tempted to get a model Y and do the same...... tough as hell! :) (I had sprayed the fenders only of my '86 Toy)
Entire cost: $280 (guessing he did it himself)
So, it's been 2+ years since I sold off my 20 year old Dodge truck (and another ICE car) to help pay for the Model 3 under the premise of "I don't really use the truck that much anyway". Of course, it's been a bit painful, as it's those little situations (as opposed to hauling massive amounts of...
So, it's funny that one of the things I'm most excited about on the CT is the L-track.
Instead of speculating on rumors about things, let's talk something concrete while we wait for the CT.
What L-track parts will you order?
What will be good to have?
What is your favorite online site for...
OK, so for just around town and Home Depot trips, I certainly don't need the full "500" miles of range (no, don't start with me on choice of CT motors).
I'm perfectly good with the SR+ charging to 80% twice a week most of the time.
So for the CT, Should I just let it run between 20 and 80%...
Last night I dreamed of Cybertruck. Or should I say I dreamed of a Cybertruck sighting.
I was driving along northbound on 101 just past Buelton (don't know why I would even dream of that specific location except that it's the way back from our closest service center). I glanced in the rear view...
CAAS!!!?????
If they're getting FSD to work, anybody think it would be doable to have the CT available for those robotaxi trips that involve a trip to Home Depot or Lowes (or maybe just East Asheville Hardware if you're David Wilcox) ??
I convinced myself I could just rent a U-Haul for those...
So you're shopping somewhere (groceries, Home Depot, doesn't matter). And after you check out, you're carrying a couple bags of stuff with your hands full, but it's no problem. As you get to the CT, it automatically detects your presence and and rolls up the "vault cover" for you.
Why?
Because...
Has anyone heard any details about the onboard air compressor? I was thinking about it while in the shop yesterday.... I'm guessing this would be pretty much a standard compressor (electric motor) with a tank, and driven off the battery. I think the key thing for longevity is that you'd need to...
So, been thinking about the CT "finish"...
Attached is a picture of my relatively new Webber grill, in SS. It's been out in the (mild!) winter here in California (we are way down on rainfall totals this year) and I forgot to recover it a couple times for rain storms. Not sure the picture does...
So..... starting this as a follow up to something that @scottysize said in another thread.
I just turned 57 last Sunday. The first thing I noticed when I got my Model 3, was that it's a low to get into for us old folks! I was immediately worried about getting my aging mother into and out of it...
