  1. FSD hugging driver side lane line especially when road veers right

Version 12.5.5.2 just installed last night. Hopefully that fixes the problem.
  2. OE GOODYEAR Tires - how do they look after 25K miles?

I rotated mine at 5k miles. The wear on the rear was already visible. I did drive the truck more aggressively for the first 3k miles though. Since then Iā€˜ve backed off the throttle a bit and think I can get 20k out of them IF I drive more conservatively. Using FSD is very helpful for reduced...
  3. Non-Foundation Series has less range than Foundation Series

To clarify what I’ve been trying to say (screenshot posted near the end of page 3 of this thread): 1) my daily commute (24 miles round trip) with 10 miles of highway (6th Ave) @70 mph and 14 miles of surface streets averages 390 mile range or 315 Wh/mile. 2) my last 2100 miles of driving which...
  4. Non-Foundation Series has less range than Foundation Series

Here are my current stats. As I said earlier, my round trip from home to work has been averaging around 315 Wh/mile (currently shown is just my drive to work at 12 miles). Gotta go uphill to get home. Since I’ve been driving more in town, my lifetime (379 Wh/mile or 325 mile range) has been...
  5. FSD Test: 1,184 miles and wh/mi efficiency over 2 days on Cybertruck Dual Motor

Nice write-up. I don't like how FSD rides the lines either. There are some kinks to work out for sure. I've driven FSD for ~200 miles at this point. It is much, much better than I thought it would be. This weekend I was easily able to imagine being driven around in the backseat by the car. It...
  6. Non-Foundation Series has less range than Foundation Series

On long road trips I start at 100%. I have gone from 100% down to 2% before. Obviously, I try not to do that but Wyoming, New Mexico, and West Texas aren't exactly small states with tons of super chargers. The main point is that I average ~400 Wh/mile. That isn't 80 mph for the entire discharge...
  7. Non-Foundation Series has less range than Foundation Series

My two long road trips have been round trips from Denver to Yellowstone and then from Denver to Pecos. Lots of trips along the front range and into the mountains too. Anyway, trips to Wyoming and Texas averaged 402 Wh/mile. There was some city driving mixed in there. My current city driving...
  8. Air Suspension Error (3rd time after 3 service trips)

I'm reporting back. After picking up my truck it faulted (suspension cannot raise) in less than 1 mile from service center. I wasn't nor am I upset. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I waited until this morning to try again. I hopped in for a drive and about a mile down the road it gave the error...
  9. Non-Foundation Series has less range than Foundation Series

My experience with FS AWD and AT tires is range of 300 miles at 80 mph highway and 390 miles with city-ish driving (1/2 65 mph and 1/2 30 mph). It is getting much better range than originally advertised for me.
  10. Air Suspension Error (3rd time after 3 service trips)

I just took mine into the shop for this. It generally happens to me when driving >45 minutes. And once it happens it will continue to happen until I let it rest. In the shop they leak tested it and stress tested it (going into extract and then down to entry multiple times). The leak test was...
  11. FSD for Cybertruck is released!!!! 😱 Now pushing to early access

Humorous story. I dropped my truck off on Friday to have the compressor replaced/fixed. As the Tesla employee and I were going over things on the list I said, ā€œand don’t forget to install FSDā€. He was so wrapped up in going through the list that when we got to the end he said, ā€œI don’t see that...
  12. Disable Seatbelt Warning for Private Property and Training Scenarios

How about when you set something heavy in the passenger seat?! That annoys the heck out of me when I get a seatbelt warning because of a bag of groceries. I support this disabling feature!
  13. You bought a Cybertruck and went with the ___ model, Do you wish you had gone the other direction?

Gonna sound silly, but if you want to use the power of the cyberbeast you can probably expect about 10k miles from a set of tires (if that). The AWD will probably get you 20k Miles. Set of four tires will run you $2k-ish. For me, one of the benefits of an EV truck is the much lower cost of fuel...
  14. Vision Autopark parking in busy parking lot (demo video)

I just got this update this afternoon. I had the truck park itself in a parking lot next to another car. It did it faster than I expected. The spot highlighted on the screen, I tapped on it, and the truck backed itself in. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a good addition for sure.
  15. FSD (Supervised)

Or Tesla put the ā€œsupervisedā€ in front of full self-driving because they want to differentiate the two. Meaning that when unsupervised FSD comes out we all will have to pay an extra fee for it if we want it. I hadn’t considered the possibility that they deliver unsupervised FSD to the rest of...
  16. How to maximize range? Comfort mode may not be the way ….

Chill is 100% the best way to save your tires. Can't say much about improving efficiency, though. I've taken to driving medium height, chill, and comfort. At first it hurt a little to take away the instant torque. Now I've decided I like averaging 315 kWh/mi. Maybe I'll try the lower ride height.
  17. Cybertruck Vault Cargo Divider Questions -- easy to install & move positions?

It is easy to move around the bed. There are two tricks to it that I’ve found. 1) It is the same width as the bed, so you have to angle it slightly to lower it all the way down. Then you straighten it side to side. 2) when trying to latch it into the mole circles, close the center lever...
  18. Black Matte wrap Cavalier Cybertruck

Sorry about the premature death of your Nissan. My previous car was a Model 3 and I loved it for commuting. I had the original version and the suspension was a bit harsh. Even so, up until that point it was my favorite car. The newer Model 3 is much, much better on the ride. As to money, fuel...
  19. What's your favorite color for the ambient lights?

I started with red and then switched to green just last week. The ambient color randomizer would be a great addition. An adaptive intensity/color palette option based on selectable categories (speed, outside temp, volume, AQI, etc) would be a very distinctive advantage for the look of the vehicle.
